The beach was beautiful but ... there were 2 men clearing off the seaweed literally all day. It seems like the beach would incorporate an easier process with equipment to clear off the seaweed. Other than that, the beach was wonderful.

There's a sign to turn directly into the park. I use the big big church directly across from the park as my landmark

The tourists would probably not mind but families and locals are fairly conservative in St Thomas. They generally go to the parks like Magens and Lindquist on the weekends and might not approve. So ask someone on the island... More

Nobody will notice unless the thong changes your behavior. There is a really good lifeguard who looks out for the beach and he will let you know if things are not going well.
