    Quiet cove
Quiet beach to spend the day in st Thomas. Recommend for a chill day after hitting up Magens Bay and/or St John. No food options but there’s restrooms and — if you drive there are local options nearby to grab a bite. Save your entry fee receipt to get back in.

    Feels remote and natural
Beautiful beach, can walk along beach and find shells and coral. In the ocean, you can still stand fairly far out. There is a nice bathhouse and bathroom. Need to pay to go into this area.

    Best Beach on St Thomas
Great beach on the east side of the island. You park up the hill but staff let you drop off beach gear. Tons of shaded spots and plenty of picnic tables. We saw rays, sea turtles, and tons of fish. There’s a designated swim area that shifts from couple feet deep to over 25 feet. We liked this beach much better than Magens Bay which we found overrated and littered. Park staff did a much better job of keeping Lindquist Beach clean and there was a park attendant constantly riding around in a golf cart and checking on facilities.

    A Well Kept Secret
We found this beach to be one of the most beautiful beaches in St. Thomas. It is not crowded, even on cruise ship days, water is calm, snorkeling is fair, sand is pristine. There is a bathroom, showers and changing rooms. Plenty of parking and picnic tables. Admission is reasonable and on weekends there is a lifeguard. We carried in our lunch as there are no food stands. You can rent lounge chairs. Overall a great place to spend some hours in the sun and on the beach.

    A must see..... and relax.
Wonderful. Beautiful beach with pink sands and turquoise waters. The water was perfect, the bathrooms were clean. Very little food, water, concessions.... Bring a snack and water. Worth the entrance fee....

    Great Beach
By far the best beach we have been too. The water is clear and you can swim with the Sea Turtles. We saw numerous fish, especially along the ledge to the right of the beach, and several Sea Turtles. If you go, you will need to take a taxi when you get off the boat and it cost $15 a person each way. You will need to make sure to tell the taxi what time you want to leave because they will be there or they will send someone else to pick you up at the time you request. It was well worth the price and trip.

    Beautiful view….few people
We spent a morning here. We got to the beach a few minutes before 9. There was no one at the gatehouse and the gates weren’t open but our driver told us we could just walk down so we saved $7 each in fare. In addition, there was no one on the beach renting chairs so we grabbed two and sat down. We figured some one would be by and charge us but we stayed for three hours and no one did. There were probably less than 20 people on the beach. The view is beautiful. Lots of sea grass but we didn’t see any turtles. The north side of thr island currently is getting seaweed but it didn’t bother us. Bathrooms and showers were very clean.

Love Smith Bay. Why Did I Wait So Long???!!!
This is a beautiful beach. It was a perfect day. Crystal clear, calm water! Trees for shade. Clean facilities. Like Magens, entry and parking fees apply. No food concession on site so bring drinks and food with you. Definitely going back.

White sand and crystal clear calm water
We had the most amazing day at Lindqvist Beach. White sand, crystal clear water, and plenty of shade. The beach is clean and washrooms are clean. We had to take a 20 minute taxi drive from the port at $15 pp. Ensure you arrange with your taxi driver to pick you up from the beach at a specific time not to miss your boat.

    Beautiful Beach
We had a wonderful morning at this beach. We visited as part of the Secret Sands excursion on the Disney Fantasy. The guide here was friendly and had chairs set up for us. We were able to drag them under a tree for some shade. The beach was not crowded and gorgeous! We did not have snorkel gear but I overheard some people say they saw sea turtles.

This is part of the island's park system and therefore there is a fee to enter. Refer to the pictures already posted for the rates.

There are good facilities here (bathrooms, showers, tables). Parking is at the top of the hill but there is a drop-off/pick-up area at the beach.

A pleasant place, we didn't find it to be the best beach on the island to sit and relax. The snorkeling is good there due to the reefs but if you are looking for a gently sloped, wide beach I'd recommend other options.

That said, if you go, try to get there soon after it opens (at 8 am) to enjoy it with minimal other people there.

So glad we went here on a day that was busy with cruise ship people as this beach was not busy. Beautiful sand and some areas for shade if you need. Can explore rocky area on the one end and lengthy sand on the other. Great snorkeling saw sea turtles and many different fish and a couple of iguanas that didn't stay long. Limited facilitates with no food or drinks sold and $5 per person fee. Easy parking and access to beach.

Nice beach but considering you need to pay ($5 per person and $3 for car parking) for it and other than restrooms there are no other facilities I found it somewhat unnecessary - I would choose Sapphire over Lindqvist but still enjoyed the time we spent here - definitely more secluded and "less crowded" (we visited June 2020 post COVID so barely people anywhere but I can see how this can be a run away haven while cruise ships are in town).

Plenty of shade and some picnic tables are present as well. The water on the day we visited wasn't as peaceful and had some sea weed on one side but nothing preventing you really from enjoying a refreshing dip. I enjoyed reading the book and my wife took a nap; very relaxing area away from any hotels, condos and resorts.

TIP: Bring food and something to drink for you as there is nothing walking distance from here to get these from.

My favorite beach in St. Thomas. It’s quiet. There’s plenty of shady spaces to set up your chairs, blankets or towels. They also have picnic tables.
Only a small section is rocky. The rest is smooth. The water is shallow and you can snorkel nearby.
We did see a small shark near the shoreline, but no one was scared.
They have a $5 per person entrance fee and $2 parking fee. If you’re a veteran the parking fee is waived.
Parking is a less than 5 min walk to the beach, but you can drive your car up to the beach to drop off your belongings.
They have clean bathrooms and showers available.
Lounge chairs are available for rent.

After visiting dozens of other beaches during our time at the Virgin Islands, I can assure you this beach is not worth your time. The parking was highly inaccessible, staff was unhelpful, and the beach was filled with sea grass. The sea grass covered a vast majority of the beach/water and it smelt horrendous. To make things worse, a homeless man had set up camp in the beach and was screaming and cursing at our family for no reason. He set up camp in the only area with shade and seating, and he screamed at any one who went near the shade. Wouldn’t recommend blowing $5 a person (+$2 for parking) for this!

My family and I were staying about 15 minutes from lindquist beach and was looking for a nice first beach to go to on a Saturday. Lindquist did not disappoint. We got there mid morning and we were able to find a nice spot with some shade and some sun. The foliage on the beach allows for some pockets of privacy. More people really started arriving later in the morning and into the afternoon. The water is so beautiful, beach is white and well maintained. We also spotted some rays while there. We forgot our snorkel gear so wasn’t able to confirm what kind but fun either way. We are excited to explore other beaches as well but lindquist is definitely one we would come back to.

Nice beach, below average snorkeling, but who can turn down the floating bar put together by one of the locals on Sundays! Drinks are free, just show your appreciation with a few wet dollars and be sure someone in your group is designated as the driver. Cups are very small, but the pour is large, and if your cup is empty, it won't be for long! Gave $20 to my college aged boys, and swam out with a $10 about 45 minutes after they got there just to be sure they had enough cash, and got roped into a rum drink of my own that proved to be bottomless. Fun day talking and getting lit with some locals. Careful, though, standing in the chest deep water drinking can end with a surprise when you stagger back to the beach.

Worst beach ever! When we got there we had to pay $12. We couldn’t park near the beach but they let us bring our car to the beach to drop off our things and park back next to the ticket booth. It’s a small place, and was crowded when we got there so it took us about 20 mins to find where to place our stuff. After we settled down we got in the beach, when we got in the beach there were sharp rocks and green stuff all in the water. You could barely walk anywhere without your feet stepping on something. We spent about 5 mins in the water, we got out because our feet were hurting and it smelled soooo bad. So we spent 30 mins in that beach. After we gathered our stuff we went back to the ticket booth and asked if we could get a refund & the lady asked “why” we told her “we only spent 30 mins in the beach, it’s very small, every time we took a step, we stepped on sharp objects, and it smells bad.” The lady says “it took you 30 mins realize you want a refund”. We said “yeah we needed to unpack, find a place to to sit, we need to pack our things & now we are here. That doesn’t take 5 mins ” The lady refused to give us our money back & turn off her mic & wouldn’t answer our questions. Just away from this beach!!!!!

We absolutely loved our day here today, so serine. Not at all crowded, so clean, water so warm & clear, sand so soft. We did not bring a cooler with food as others did ( since there is no food or drink vendors)because we knew we’d walk over to The restaurant De coal pot near the park entrance 2 minute walk.We didn’t rent the chairs or umbrella because we used towels and the trees for shade. Cautious with the bees around the trees. We didn’t use the the shower but washed our feet off at the foot wash area near the restroom. My hubby loved snorkeling we rented snorkels for $10 from our resort. It $8/person taxi from Margaritaville. Park entrance was $5/person, it was very quiet loved being able to hear waves instead of music and smell the ocean instead of pot. A little secret treasure of peace. Not a party beach

Our crew (2 adults and 3 kids) came here twice on our 6 day vacation to St Thomas. We love the quiet, peaceful atmosphere and calm clear waters. There is a fee to enter and park ($27 for 5 people and 1 car) and chairs are sometimes available for rent. One of the days that we visited, there were beach chairs available for rent for $5 (Wednesday) and the other day (Tuesday) there were none. We are not sure why, but it might have something to do with cruise ships. The swimming area is large, but the far right and left have rocky bottoms. The rest is beautiful sand with occasional patches of sea grass that is home to many fish. There is quite a bit of seaweed, but this did not bother us. Overall, this is a great beach that we would highly recommend.
