Amazing nature place beside St-Lawrence gulf

If you are a nature lover you will enjoy to stay at Rioux section campground. Lots of nature trail along the gulf or hiking the mountain with gorgeous view.

We had a very good time walking around the coast in Le Bic, in November. I recommend the big walk (Le Grand Tour) 8,7 KM. They says its "difficult" but it's not. The view is amazing and you have to climb a little.

Breathtaking, beautiful, gorgeous - just do it. Go. Seriously. It's ridiculous how beautiful it is. Excellent balance between developed and rustic - camping, trails, interpretive centers, lakes, rivers, islands, the bay - it is all here.

The variety of habitats provide opportunities for terrific wildlife viewing. Most popular, of course, are the seals. But we had a gorgeous fox trot within five feet of us while we were resting on a beach log. Fabulous birding and photo ops. You can hike to an island during low tide or climb Le Pic Champlain. Le Chemin Du Nord... More

Always a pleasure to visit the park, the sights are awesome and worth the time traveling. We did hike to see most of the panoramic views and every time we were amazed how beautiful the region is. We seen seals, many birds, a fox. The sky was clear so at Pic Champlain we seen boats and the infinite blueness of... More

Developped with due consideration to the environment, tons of detailled information about the history of the site and the natural attractions that exists there. Despite its accessibility, it has kept its wild character. Tons of National Geographic pictures opportunities. It is well worth the trip. Do go.

Beautiful views. Excellent for photographers. Path well maintained. A must if you are in the area. We saw seals, seagulls. The golden hours was great. Each path has its own charm and points of interest.

We spent one evening and one morning at this park. We walked the Ile aux amours trail at low tide, but the weather is not great, so the scenery is not very impressive. I think under sunny sky, it will look beautiful. We went to both Pointe-aux-Épinettes and Cap-Caribou to see seals and were able to see a few harbour... More

We camped there one night on our trip around the Gaspe peninsula. It is a very nice park with many hiking and biking trails. The campground is adequate but there are no waterfront sites and very few with water views. It is also just off the highway so there is a lot of traffic noise

We camped in Guillemot because Rioux was full. Campsites were nice, hikes were nice especially pic de Champlain, facilities were clean. Unfortunately noise from the highway was quite loud. Next time I'll bring earplugs. We saw wild deer grazing, a fox wandered in to our campsite. It was very special.
