Hiking with a stroller (3 solid wheels!) possible, you have to plan to carry a stroller in a few places but it is doable. From the banbio parking lot to the pig hole it took us 30 minutes, obviously with the stroller we only made this journey. Bring a swimsuit and towel because at the end the swim is worth it.

This is a very nice hike of 6.5 km or 3 hours. The tricky part is finding the entrance to the path. To drive there, follow the road signs and/or Google Maps to Chateau Paille. Once you get there, you will see a parking lot next to a cell phone tower. Park there and with your back to the ocean, walk onto the road to the right, looking for the yellow signs that say Boucle de Vauclin and/or Sentier. There was a nice guy at the pink UCP building that helped guide us when we went the wrong way.

Once you are on the path, it is a loop on a peninsula, so follow the yellow blazes, mostly along the coast with a few inland diversions. Make sure to take the two one-way detours out to the peninsulas along the way; the first takes you to a beautiful ocean overlook with cactus and black rocks in the water, and the second takes you through the mangrove. The path goes through grasslands, forest, beach, and mangroves. I would highly recommend hiking shoes, and not flip flops or even hiking sandals, as there are many rocky places, as well as a number of muddy spots. The views are worth it. There are two different spots with a bench where you can stop and have lunch; both are around halfway through.

We walked a lot and we had fun.

Walking is always fun.

We had some signs to know we were on the right path.

We passed a plantation.

We came back where we wanted.

Circuit de la Boucle du Vaudin is just North of Vauclin. Parking is easy to find as it's right under the cell tower on top of a small hill. Just follow signs to Chateau Paille.
This is a scenic 6.5km walk/hike/run that an average person should be able to do in 3 hours.
Bring water and a hat. We saw few people running it and if you are in good shape it would be an excellent early morning running trail. The scenery varies but the trail is good all the way. Having said that we saw numerous runnng shoe bottoms all over the trail...so it is hard on shoes. This was our favourite walk on Martinique.
