We had a great morning with Gunnar paddling across the lake and exploring the mangroves. He provided great kayaks and equipment, yummy snacks and offered gentle guidance. He is very knowledgeable and we were happy to learn about the lake and surrounding nature. He sent us the pictures afterwards which was an added bonus. We would go out with him... More

We booked last minute, and Jacqueline was VERY welcoming. The walk itself was calm enough for a 2 year old to keep up, included TONS of information about the flora, fauna and the customs of locals. We saw huge spiders (apparently safe), birds, flowers and many types of fungi. After the walk you go down to the water and enjoy... More

We had an awesome day on the lake with Gunnar, enjoyed his knowledgeable and friendly conversations. The exploring in the mangroves, swimming, shore lunch and wildlife viewing all led to an excellent day. We will go again the next time we are in the area.

Thank you for the nice Tour and the great pictures. We had a really good time paddling over the Lake and though the Mangroves. Gunnar the guide is very knowlageble about the local Flora and Fauna. A must do in Bacalar and easy to get to the starting point by Taxi. See you soon Sebastian and Jasmine

I just finished my visit in this place. I went to the kayak tour with Gummor. The place is beautiful, hidden between the trees, on the way there you get to see some animals. We went for 3 hrs paddle in the lake and it was beautiful, Gummor has a vast knowledge about the enviroment, animals and other stuff in... More

Sunrise tour was well worth getting up early in the morning. Great tour on the lake and through some wetlands. Good equipment. Good information provided on the lake, animals and plants. No complaints ;)

We went for a very nice sunrise kayak tour with Gunnar and two other guests. It was quite a ride for our arms, but the views were awesome and a dip halfway was nice. Gunnar was very helpful and had a huge amount of knowledge. He brought some fruit & snacks for on the way, which was nice.

A great trip. Excellent equipment. Werner Paddles. Quality dry bags and PFD. I was impressed when Gunnar handed me a Neoprene skirt. OK so the kayaks where doubles with rudders - not my personal choice - but excellent for novice groups. A great option for novices and experienced kayakers alike.
