Hirst Road | Seedlings Garden Centre & Family Visitor Attraction, Carlton, Yorkshire Dales National Park DN14 9PX, England
Has some decent play areas and a good collection of different animals. I think my expectations were possibly too high?
The garden centre is disused and just an empty large building to walk through. There were rabbits for sale next to the front desk which...More
Firstly you've got to realise that this is a small family run open farm. Not a modern expensive attraction. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable. The animals are all well looked after and friendly. It's easy for the children to see...More
I go all the time. Great little day out for young children. Plenty of different animals to see, sand pit is great and an area to ride bikes. The cafe is clean and food is great at reasonable price. Staff very friendly. Lovely place

The garden centre can only be described as tired. It is poorly stocked and in need of major refurbishment. The cafe is adequate but we had to wait quite a while to be served our food.
Overall not worth a return visit.

This place is such a hidden little gem, I saw it on a post online and thought we would have a run out. It looks small from the outside but is like the secret garden at the back. Plenty of well looked after animals. My...More

Hi, we now offer this service. It would last around an hour, would include preparing the food, feeding all animals, entering the pens to feed, where safe to do so, and interacting with animals, again, where safe to do so. We will also take a series of photos of the visit and you can choose one to be printed out A4 size to take home. Cost would be £18 for one child, £24 for two children together. Max 2 children at one time, age 4 to 12 years. No adults would be allowed into animal pens. This would not be suitable for very nervous or very boisterous children.
