So many things to see and the taxidermy museum was an amazing surprise; it was very done and while some people may find taxidermied animals off-putting, these animals were truly works of art. Highly recommend it!

This museum is a hidden gem. One would think a community like Sundre would have a more humble offering but for a small community this museum is a real treasure. Dozens of expertly done outstanding animal mounts in the wildlife exhibit was totally unexpected. The scope of the "pioneer" collection was pretty broad and more like one would expect, and I have to admit I didn't take the time to see the outbuildings. What is clear is that Sundre takes pride in their museum. Anybody passing through would not be disappointed to take the time to check this out. Highly recommended.

The staff is what makes tgus place special. Wish I could remember their names but they were great. The wonderful lady working was phenomenal with our kids aged 7,9 and 14. They had a blast, my wife and I had a blast. Great little museum that has left room.for expansion. Keep up the great work. Wildlife exhibition is absolutely stunning, almost makes it a 5 out if 5 in itself.

What a fantastic little gem! We ran out of dry clothes in a monsoonal weekend camping in the area so we chose to visit some of the local attractions.
This was by far one of the favourite little surprised the kids have found.
The wildlife world displays taxidermy animals from around the globe, with only four replicas and the rest are "the real thing".
The pioneer village was awesome as well. Original buildings from the area creates a real experience.
Will be back when in the area for sure!.

Went here on little mini vacation. It's an amazing place and well worth the time to go. Do the outside village first it's awesome. So much to see and check out. Well worth it. The animal museum is worth it as well. Not as big as the village but still very nice. Would happily go again.

The fencing is amazing; the wildlife display was a surprise :)
The smithy was running and it seemed like the blacksmith was explaining things well. The museum was fun too.

We went to Sundre on a day trip for the Car Show on Canada Day. After looking through the varied vehicles we thought we should check out the Museum. The outdoor exhibits were fine but the World of Wildlife Exhibit inside was not what I expected. Inside are varied wildlife that Chester Mjolsness has preserved from his world travels. It is an extrodinary display with art work backdop on the walls and very realistic settings. Banff has a great exhibit there but this is much better in my opium.
