What a fantastic little gem! We ran out of dry clothes in a monsoonal weekend camping in the area so we chose to visit some of the local attractions.
This was by far one of the favourite little surprised the kids have found.
The wildlife world displays taxidermy animals from around the globe, with only four replicas and the rest are "the real thing".
The pioneer village was awesome as well. Original buildings from the area creates a real experience.
Will be back when in the area for sure!.

Went here on little mini vacation. It's an amazing place and well worth the time to go. Do the outside village first it's awesome. So much to see and check out. Well worth it. The animal museum is worth it as well. Not as big as the village but still very nice. Would happily go again.

The fencing is amazing; the wildlife display was a surprise :)
The smithy was running and it seemed like the blacksmith was explaining things well. The museum was fun too.

This is an awesome must see while in Sundre! The taxidermist museum is AMAZING! The guy working in there was incredibly knowledgeable, we we even learnt a lot! Also make sure to check out the outdoor area! There’s lots of neat buildings with lots of history! Highly recommend!

We went to Sundre on a day trip for the Car Show on Canada Day. After looking through the varied vehicles we thought we should check out the Museum. The outdoor exhibits were fine but the World of Wildlife Exhibit inside was not what I expected. Inside are varied wildlife that Chester Mjolsness has preserved from his world travels. It is an extrodinary display with art work backdop on the walls and very realistic settings. Banff has a great exhibit there but this is much better in my opium.

My wife and I very much enjoyed this museum and the wildlife exhibit. Daniel the guide for the wildlife was amazing and very knowledgeable. The other staff were very friendly and answered any questions we had. Very much worth a stop to see the history of the area and our province. At 10$ per person it’s great.

Great for children to see some life size wildlife from Elephants to ducks. The guide was very informative. Historic artifacts and history exhibits.
