Seems cool but

It was closed when we were visiting... We could still see some stuff from outside like cars and accessories but I'd have love to get inside.

Awesome museum. Say hello to the awesome blue-healer doing the rounds. Great nostalgia from Mad Max 2 and a great incite to the local areas used during the making of the movie. Drive out to the Mundi Mundi lookout where the opening scene and the final truck roller over was filmed. Well recommend.

Adrian and his family are awesome. He knows a story or fact about every grain of sand in that place. He has personally researched, collected, collaborated and dug up the surrounds to create the amazing space. Well done. Loved meeting you.

We are originally from Leicester UK but have lived in Geelong for over 6 years now. My husband and son are massive Mad Max fans and us girls just tagged along for the experience and thought it would just be a "boys thing!". We all had a great time. My husband could have talked all day with his fellow pom... More

The Mad Max film series certainly put Broken Hill and Silverton on the map, but to really get the most out of a visit to this venue you have to have a good working knowledge of the early Mad Max films, particularly Mad Max 1. Be prepared for a bit of a visual shock when you first rock up -... More

Like most people we came for the Mad Max museum and from this discovered Silverton. This is a museum put together by people passionate about Mad Max. A tiny little place but it is so packed full of stuff you find yourself taking pigeon steps, take bigger steps and you miss stuff. Worth coming out for on its own.

From the time we walked into the museum we were welcomed with a beautiful lady and a smiling face and very interesting to talk to her. We learnt a lot from visiting this great place, recommend it to everyone.

This museum is a great set up, a lot of work put into it, owners are nice, if you are a fan of the 2nd movie, most of the exhibits are from this movie, admission is cheap, recommend having a look for something different.
