We live close to a temperate rainforest - and we see it from the forest floor. The tropical rainforest from the bottom to the top was a totally new experience for us. I didn't quite know what to expect, but I was pleased that it was beautiful and informative. I'm not fond of heights, but I really didn't have an... More

The tram tour was beautiful. Our guide was very informative and knew a lot about all the rainforest. We saw a snake, many butterflies and an anteater. And so many beautiful flowers. It was worth the trip from the cruise ship.

Visited here as one stop on our cruise through the Panama Canal. Was a nice day - sunny with moderate temperatures. The wildlife section of the facility was interesting & the guides informative. The butterfly house was unique. The highlight of our trip was taking the aerial tram to the top of the mountain. You get to view many varieties... More

We stayed for 2 nights in the on site cabins, what an experience. After parking in a secure parking lot by the highway, a shuttle bus took us to our cabin in the center of the park. Riding in, we both were struck by how much this place made us think of Jurassic Park. All of the plants were so... More

The excursion was well executed with the care of the rangers helping out at the loading area. The guide did a great job explaining everything that you can see from the tram as you rode over the rain forest. It was about one hour long.

We booked this as an excursion from our Holland Panama Canal Cruise. We were lucky to have a clear day with comfortable temperatures. The cruise line bused us there and back with a local guide. This private tram is very well organized and had good guides for the short walking tour and on the aerial tram. The easy walk was... More

This activity lasts for about one and a half hours. Each "cage" holds six people plus a guide. The idea is that the cage moves along almost like a ski lift, but incredibly slowly so as not to desturb the animals and birds. On the outward journey the cages travel low to the ground and they are in the tree... More
