“The beach by the old brick factory “...is a common theme on which beach to choose. There are no beds/umbrellas to rent; fortunately we had purchased a couple of chairs and an umbrella ourselves that were useful. Sea is beautiful in September. Warm. Super for...More

Last August we visited this part of Sicily and found it really hard to get a space on the beaches along the coast from Punta Secca. We were told that if we visited the Fornace Penna or the brick factory used in Montalbano then we...More

Not many tourists, a long and broad sandy beach, Sampieri is a town to stay awhile. The ocean is warm during summer, the tides non-threatening, and long acres can be walked while cavorting in the blue waters.

It has all the essentials, lovely beach, good restaurants in the area a Spa on hand for those essentials and very friendly locals. A great place to relax and unwind , the sea is lovely and warm and quite shallow so very safe.

We went out of the main holiday season and were rewarded with a very quiet beach which gently shelves into the sea. Sampieri is absolutely charming with only 2 or 3 shops including the Bar Fantasy where we regularly had ice creams. Our last day...More

We came here from Modica, only 25 mins in the car and made a welcome change from stomping round the sights. The Italians like their comforts so there's plenty of lounge seats with umbrellas for €5 for 2. We only stayed an hour as my...More

One of the best blue flag beaches near Modica. Great place to swim and not too crowded. There is a nice grove of trees behind the beach which offers good shade for a picnic lunch. There are also restaurants right on the beach.

Yes,Sampieri has public beaches and those where you can hire an umbrella and two loungers. There are places to eat and drink, ranging from the high end -VotaVota to the cheap, but perfectly good, -PataPata.
