The viewpoint is named as kata Karon Viewpoint. But actually, we can see a lot from this point. There are three beaches visible from a round shaped Concrete umbrella with seating capacity. The breeze is awesome at this point. Loved this point.

If you're passing by, it's a must stop destination but not to go there specially for the view. You can see 3 beaches from the view point.

We visited Karon View Point on the suggestion of our private driver. Although the place is badly in need of maintenance (it is clean but in a dilapidated state) its gives a breathtaking view of the shore and three beaches below while you are surrounded...More

It's a decent single view of the 3 beaches. Though not worth if you are coming specifically for it. It's ok for 15- 20 mins if it's on the way to your next destination

Nice to stop by and visit but avoid if the weather is very hot and humid. No restaurants around so be sure to eat well and stay hydrated!

Take your time exploring the Big Buddha (a work in progress) and the fantastic views in all directions. Allow about 45mins. Any Island tour will take you here as part of the tour. There are several spots where you will see elephants on the way...More

It is not far away from Karon. One can drive in and there is a car park. It is safe to take a look with Children and spend some time watching the sunset.

It is just a view point with some steep stairs to the top. We made a quick stop when passing from Naiharn beach. In my opinion it makes no sense just going there for a look. Guess we stayed for 10-15min max.

Not sure about Le Meridian itself but I have been to Phuket 8 times and there is an enormous amount of western food venues available in general....you won't have to look far at all !
