    Love Parc Asterix
Great first visit to the Parc, the themeing is amazing and the rides are all great. We enjoyed some late sunny October weather which helped. We travelled from Public transport from Paris and the bus to and from CDG had queues on the way out and was a bit of a long wait around park opening time. Did notice there were some Flic Bus and BlaBlaCar coaches that left to/from central Paris; would consider these if going back to make the day easier

    Serious coasters
great fun. I was sceptical to be honest although we were very impressed. It’s all about the rides. The coaster are world class. You get to recognise the coaster designs from other parks. The best rides from the likes of universal are here. Some serious coasters so it’s not for the faint hearted. Some queues to contend with. It’s not Disney but that’s no bad thing!

    A excellent couple of days
My first time at this theme park, Can truly say it was one of the best experiences of a theme park I have had the pleasure to attend. ( all uk parks now done so Europe is next to discover ) The rides were incredible, yes the average waiting time was from 45-60 minutes. Had the joy of going backwards on Zeus 2 which was incredible. The park it self is very clean and easy to get around. The hotel was very good . Food in the evening and the morning was great . Lots of choice for even the most picky eaters out there. The room was great spacious and very clean. Travelling there was also easy plenty of signs along the way. Prices for food in the park are what is expected just the same as the Uk. All in all will definitely be giving this park a return in the future.

Halloween event at Parc Asterix, love it
Parc Asterix Halloween event has been on the bucket list for a few years. I booked tickets for the 31st well in advance If you want to book the haunted houses and other special events keep checking the website a few weeks before as they sellout quickly. Highly recommend the gold filotomatix let's you jump the queue on the busy rides. The haunted houses are brilliant I had so much fun listening to the screams from the general public. Tomb Des Dieux is not suitable for young children, My 15yr old Daughter did not like it at all. The park is dressed in Halloween decorations with various shows dotted around the park, lots of fun watching human spiders, creepy clowns chasing people around the theme park.

    Wonderfull
Very well themed park. Many great attractions, specially Toutatis. We had a perfect day last Monday. All attractions were operating, park operation works very well and employees are kind and helpful. Beatiful souvenirs (and not so expensive as in Disney Paris). I highly recommend it.

    Oh my Gaul!! C'est Super!
We've done Disney and were put off by the increased prices so gave Parc Asterix a go The children are too young to know much about Asterix and Obelix but much of the reason for going was the rides. The park is compact so no long distances to walk like at Alton Towers but areas are themed and distinctive. All the coasters and thrill rides were brilliant. Queue times were very short - 15 mins maximum or the time it took to walk through the queue walk and then wait for the next coaster to return to the departure point. This was likely because it wasn't French school holidays - although it was English Easter break. Would thoroughly recommend if you like roller coasters and thrill rides. Only downside.. drinks are expensive and nowhere to refill water bottles as there is in UK parks.

    Something for everyone
Loved the park, lots to do. We did a one day visit and everyone got to do a few things they wanted. 2 days would be needed if you want to go on all the big rides as the queues were long. Worth going if you have a car. Shuttle bus from Roissy is great and reasonable but beware of transport costs to get there, especially with a family. If we could have cancelled our tickets we probably would have when we found out how much the train was to get to Roissy to the shuttle bus. We are a family of 6 and the transport within Paris was extortionate. Anyone 12+ pays full fair for train/metro.

Very cool park! Food and souvenirs are extremely expensive and the workers are not nice.
This park is very nice and clean. They habe a lot of cool attractions. We went on a Monday and waited 30mins per attractions wich was okay because it was very busy as well (holidays). The only bad thing was that the prices for the food and souvenirs are extremely extremely expensive. The prices does not make any sense. I paid 6 euro‘s for a waffle. The food is also everywhere very bad and there are no varieties. Only burgers and fries, not worth the money so take you lunchpakket and waterbottles with you if you don‘t want to get ripped off. The second bad thing is that all the workers were very very lazy and slow. No one smiles or greets you wich is sad for a park like this. They work very very slow and dont pay attention to what you order and make a lot of mistakes with the orders… sadly

    Great theme park
Excellent theme park not far from Paris, and close to De Gaulle (CDG) airport. It's a big park with hotels on the edge of the grounds as well. Lots of great rides and shows with something for everyone. Restaurant options were decent - just pricey as are all theme parks. On holidays, weekends, and during the summer, expect long queues during the day, so getting the speed pass for rides might be worth it as the waits can take awhile. There are parades as well and demos during the day. Great gift shops and plenty of snack kiosks as well. 20 euros parking fee per car (payable via card or cash) at the entrance. Great park. Highly recommended.

    Better than Disney?
Parc Astérix is a large park with lots of open air, foliage and water. It’s not as busy as Disneyland and I don’t really get why this park isn’t crowded more. It’s only an hour away from Disneyland and it deserves everyone’s attention - it’s that good!

My wife and I booked the "2 nights + 2 entrance" and stayed at the Hotel "La cité suspendue" (recommend 5/5).
The overall experience was very nice, there were several attractions for those who don't like extreme rides (such as myself) and the food was good.
The only downside I can think of is the lack of English information for those who understand little-to-no French, especially when it came to the Asterix museum. Most of the personal can speak little English, and in the end I was able to get myself understood, but still: since they state that Asterix & Obelix is translated in more than 100 languages, I suppose they will sooner or later get tourists from somewhere other than France.
Oh, and be prepared for the long queues as soon as the park opens! The day we went there was a Saturday and they became quicker just after lunch.
Can't wait to come back!

I loved every part of ot except the waiting lines, it was a great experience.
I loved the 4D cinema that was so funny.
I highly recommend buying the ticket at least 7 days before the visit, online do you can get it cheaper and you can have a bracelet to pass the line (waiting line) in the park for 8euros I guess per attraction

The Park is quite nice with something for everybody. The entrance ticket is fairly priced. However, beware that you have to pay for the parking: 15 euros for the car park. This is a bit stiff I think, especially since there is nothing exceptional about the car park.

The rides in the park are great. There are some for the little ones, some for families and some for those who like to be a bit scared. The waiting time is the same as what you would expect in any park.

The food prices are fair.

There are some hotels on-site, but we decided to stay at the Campanile in St-Witz. It is fairly priced, very quiet, and only about 15 mns away by car or by taxi.

14yr old son and i had a fantastic day out together. only had one wait of around 25 minutes, otherwise 5-10 minutes. Loved the wet Menir Express, Oxygenarium and the Osiris. Big Asterix fans so enjoyed getting our photos with characters, and bought few quality reasonably priced souvenirs. went on Friday 22 July, just changed to 10pm evening opening hours - more relaxed as no need to rush round everything. 11am to 7pm we were on everything we wanted at least once and few favourites 2/3 times. Highly recommended

We went for a package of 2 nights and 2 days as a family with a 12 Yr old and a 6 months old baby.
It ended up being some of the hottest days in the last 10 yrs... And yet, we had an amazing time.

The Parc is big but not too big so everything is accessible easily.
The attractions are really varied and fun!
Family and small children attraction areas tend to be together which makes it easier.
The Parc is full of little areas of shade and water play, or fountains, or little mini towns with shade.
The food is decent, what you would expect in a Parc like this - not great and overly expensive but OK.

We chose the hotel La Cité Suspendue and we're very impressed. Great organisation, the building is beautiful and well themed all in wood with great details. The normal family room was a good size and very clean, with a separate walled and curtained area for the kids bed space. And a huge shower!
The a/c also made a big difference in the night.
We missed a small fridge and kettle but this was the only negative.

The buffet breakfast was good for France, and the buffet dinner really excellent and massive in choice.

A definite success, we will absolutely go back, hopefully on a cooler day!

I loved the visit here but it was extremely crowded due to the school holiday, I would recommend visiting here outside of the school holiday in France. The park is not as big as Disneyland but the attractions are just as good. I absolutely loved the buffet dinning at Le cirque, the price is justified and the staff are nice. Make sure you do not miss the water splash attractions if you are visiting in the summer!

We recently visited Parc Astérix and were shocked by the blatant disregard for the park’s non-smoking policy. While there are designated smoking areas, it seemed that the policy existed only in theory. People were smoking and vaping throughout the park, including in areas with children and even inside restaurants! This created an unpleasant and unhealthy environment, especially for families with kids.

What’s even more frustrating is that the security teams seemed indifferent to it all. We saw them walking right past people who were clearly smoking or vaping outside the designated zones without saying a word. It's unacceptable and disappointing that the park doesn't take its own rules seriously.

Our stay at the Trois Hiboux Hôtel was equally disheartening. Despite being marketed as a 3-star hotel, there was no room service, no mini-fridge, and not even a kettle in the room. Check-in was at 5 PM, and checkout was at 10 AM—absurd timing for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a vacation. It felt more like a rushed stopover than a proper stay.

Adding to the disappointment was the highly anticipated character breakfast. The visit from the characters was practically inaccessible due to long queues, and they stayed for such a short amount of time that it left the kids disappointed. For families excited about meeting the characters, it was a letdown.

Overall, this was not an experience we would want to repeat. Until the management starts enforcing their own policies and improves the quality of both the park and hotel services, we won’t be returning. It seems that money is prioritized over the health and enjoyment of their guests.

The parc itself is ok, and would have been a 4/5 if it hadn’t been for the multiple rides that broke down (multiple times) during our visit, including one while we were on it. Parking was also a bit disorganized, with employees taking payment upon entering using a paper ticket. And even though it was very busy, at least half of the concession stands were closed, meaning long queues at the ones that were open. Compared to other parcs in Europe (Europa or Efteling), this isn’t quite up to par.
