So, maybe we should have asked some questions at the entrance but we thought, when we were charged 6,000COP at the entrance, that it included access to the pool. Nope! We had to pay an extra 4,000 to use the pool and also another 4,000 for a swimming cap which was not optional. There are no sun loungers, just a... More

This is a river park, with swimming pool, some very big trees with spanish moss, pretty good birding (4 new species), some weird decorations, Broomstick flying witches. good places to try Hormigas Columas (big assed ants)! Overall, I enjoyed the park, the site is lovely, some of the decorations somewhat detract...Closed on Tuesdays

I'm not sure if the night time lights display is just during the Christmas holiday season, but it was a fun added element to an otherwise pleasant park with several interesting attractions. I recommend entering the park around 5 pm so you can experience it by day as well as at night with all the lights turned on. The entrance... More

This is an odd little park, and pricey too - 10,000 pesos and 2,000 to buy a swimming cap. The strange installations around the park looked like an overhang from Halloween. The pool is refreshing and clean.

This park is nice for a walk and to look around for about an hour. There is also a swimming pool that you can visit and there are a few parrots (not wild though). Overall very clean and nicely kept. Entry fee of 6000 COP per person maybe a bit much for what you get but we had a good... More

We wandered, ate icecreams and read our books in the shade. There are two swimming pools - one for kids and one for adults. It's not a park to jog in - just brick paths and lots of trees.

It's a nice park. A good way to spend a couple spare hours in San Gil. It's definitely not a 'must-do' but it's good for larger groups where not everyone wants to bungee jump or river raft (there's a lot of extreme sports in San Gil). Definitely get one of the local helados (little frozen fruit, creamy thing on a... More
