Challenging .... Spiritual.... One cannot circumnabulate Kailash without being humbled by the devotees who do it in prostration. 52km reaching 5649m.

Hi there Thanks for sharing your experience. Did you treck around the Mount Kailash or did you climb up to a certain point and came back to base camp? Will be great if you can share more detail please. The trip I am planning involves driving to the base camp (for Lhasa) and about 13KM walk/treck from the base camp. thanks Pawan

We walked all the way around Mt. Kailash. Most of the way is on a simple dirt road. The only steep part is going up to and down from Drolma La.

Hi, I have been two times to Mt. Kailash two times, in 2009 and 2014. There are very nice roads built up to Manasarovar, and also buses go up to Manasasarovar. I have written a blog about Manasasarovar yatra. Here I am not able post the link.
