The view from the villa is amazing. But the building is really abandoned and neglected. We saw a lot of trash around the villa. So the guardian of the villa is not really care for the environment of the building. But it was interesting to...More

This place has neither true historical, scenic or other value. To get there, you need to patiently drive behind some very slow rentals and what you get is a decrepitude building and a pseudo-museum at best. Wonder, how this place ended up as an attraction..?

We travelled to Villa Winter from Jandia in an ordinary hire car. The journey was doable with caution. The road suddenly changes from asphalt to gravel. There is no alternative route. The driveway to Villa Winter is particularly rough but you can park and walk...More

This is an interesting place with all sorts of conspiracy theories attached to it - there are many forums online which discuss them. If you have no 4x4 then it may be better to walk up from Cofete, as the last bit of track is...More

Visited during a jeep safari, there are great tales and conspiracy theories to be told about this large villa built in the middle of nowhere, but not sure exactly how many can believed. Good stories though :-)
