The Spice Farm is an amazing place. We took a walking tour through the farm and saw a wonderful collection of ornamental plants and various spice plants, both native and from other climes. It was fascinating to see cardamom, vanilla, cacao, black pepper, nutmeg/mace, allspice, and cinnamon in production. Our group of 4, who all have graduate degrees in botany,... More

Mark was our guide. It was fun to see peppercorns be processed, and interact with the workers. It was a great day to walk around the farm, smelling and tasting all the spices and herbs. The building was beautiful.

I enjoyed a beautiful walk and tour with one of the gardeners. He was so knowledgeable and taught me to much. The spices are wonderful and I brought alot home to use

Three of us ate lunch today, cashew chicken, curry pork and jerk chicken. Mains were good but the mashed potatoes were cold (literally - I sorta thought it was intended but I'd never heard of cold mashed potatoes with a hot lunch), the stir-fry veggies were cool and the salad was warm - strange!?! But - most annoying - the... More

We did this tour in conjunction with Nim Li Punit ruins, and it was definitely a highlight of the day. As we drove around the large spice farm, a worker or the driver would pull off leaves, fruits, and other parts of the spice plants and trees we were seeing, and let us smell, taste, or handle them. We saw... More

As we completed the ruins tour we stopped at the Spice Farm. We had a few minutes for a bathroom break and some lunch. Then we got on board a wagon pulled by a small tractor and saw a variety of spices on the farm. The guide was very good and told us about the farm and passed samples around... More

Excellent tour. Great variety of plants and spices. Our tour guide was friendly and able to answer our questions. Love that he lives locally and shared stories of how his mother cooks with many of the products grown there. The food was good. The grounds were clean and safe. Just 1 hour and 15 minutes by car from our rental... More

Unless you are an absolute expert on plants and spices you will gain a lot of knowledge from this tour! We had a very informative tour guide and were educated on many spices including vanilla, black pepper, allspice, cinnamon, mace, cacao and more. They also talk alot of the other plants on the farms beautiful property. You will get to... More
