When I made the order I was told "there is about half an hour wait on food". Having tried their food before, I said no worries. I was willing to wait half an hour. One hour later the food wasn't there. Kept asking about it and they kept saying in 3 min. 15 min later, the food was still not... More

I had been to PJ's several times ago, but just moved locally and have dropped in for a Guinness twice this week. Overall, I am impressed. The service was very, very good. The main areas aren't great for solo patrons, so I will try the Sportsman Bar next time to see if I can strike up a conversation.

Read the other reviews and decided to give it a go. I can see how the smokers outside could be an issue in the wrong conditions, however we did not have a problem. The meals were good quality for a pub style and the staff were all excellent!

We stayed across the road at the Holiday Inn and walked across to peruse their menu before we made a decision on where to eat. We were greeted by 3 very friendly staff, one not so friendly, but OK though. The Bistro was fairly busy, our meals arrived fairly quickly-Garlic Bread, Mixed Grill and Chicken Parmigiana. They forgot the salad... More

My very good friend took me out to celebrate my birthday, and suggested an Irish Pub which was close to work. Was not impressed by the loud music and a fair lack of tables. A pool table took up a lot of the space. We ordered food and drinks to a bored waitress. Food came out about 15 minutes later.... More

As a very frequent traveller, I have been to my fair share of 'irish' pubs over the years, - worldwide. Without any exaggeration ..this is the worst of its species I had visited. Having stayed a week at the Holiday Inn, it is just across from it ..of course I give it a try. First of all, both the exterior... More

We had afternoon drinks which led to dinner and had a lovely time. Good food and nice atmosphere. Our biggest mistake was staying past 9pm. The dj/s play woeful mixed versions of the same 10 songs, the place is full of cigarette smoke which actually makes you sick, spilt drinks on the tiled floor ensure you are glued to the... More

Visited on a couple of occasions during my stay in Parramatta. Cannot believe that you cannot buy a pint of beer. Was informed that it was some local licensing law, but never experienced that at any venue anywhere else in the world I have travelled. At least the Guinness came in pint glasses, otherwise an insult to the Irish. On... More
