We visited the Heritage centre for a social evening. The event was very private and secluded. The menu catered from all taste and the staff were very friendly and helpful

We just walked in out of curiosity and it was so nice to see the past being preserved by interested historians. Its not an exciting place but it is free to walk around and have a look at displays and the historians there are knowledgeable....More

I visited the Heritage Centre to try to find out more about Great-Uncle Walter who died in Parramatta in 1900. Staff were very helpful and a volunteer genealogist on duty helped me to find where he is buried in Rookwood Necropolis.

Parramatta Heritage Centre . It situated next to the Parramatta river . And opposite the building is the Parramatta theatre. we use to held the function to displace the art exhibition in the building.

We (daughter) and I decided to take train to Parramatta from central Sydney last Saturday afternoon. Just picked a area and headed there! What a good choice as it is based right next to the train station. Which we didn't know until we got there....More

Great staff who are very helpful, a display which is simple yet comprehensive, and the free city shuttle stops just up the road. We learnt a lot about Parramatta from out brief visit here.

It is a small musuem that show you some history of old parramatta. Besides, there is also a tourist information center that able to provide you free travelling information and free maps.
