First of all, actually this lake is not located in Pangkal Pinang. It is in Koba, a city that take 2 hours ride from Pangkal Pinang. There is another kaolin lake in Pangkal Pinang called Danau Biru or the locals called it 'Danau Kaolin Tetli'....More
This is a phenomenal place once you are in bangka island. range 2 hours driving from pangkal pinang is worth it when you arrive. many local tourist also. dont forget to take a picture while you were in this place
It is amazing to see blue and green lake adjacent side by side. Surrounding by its white glowing elevated overburden this ex-tin mining soon becoming a famous tourist destination. There also some knick knacks that made it instagramable spots. Cool.
The view of this lakes are stunning! With blue and turquoise water color. Really amazing as those lakes are located at an old tin mine.
Unfortunately the infrastructure for such a potential tourist spot is still under develop.
As Tripadvisor put this lake as number 1 in Things To Do while in Bangka, so I managed my time to see it first before anywhere else.
