We arrived at Clapham village and were directed to the car park. The charges were £2.50 for up to 2 hours or £4.50 for longer. Being a bit short on change we opted to pay £2.50 thinking that a trip around the cave would only take an hour or so. We followed the sign posts to the cave and found... More

I loved this, absolutely loved it. It was amazing. I thought I would enjoy it but it surpassed all my expectations. We were lucky that we were the only people who made it to the caves for the 10am tour and this made it feel very special. Out two girls (4yrs and 6yrs) were made to feel so comfortable and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour of the caves. The guide was so passionate about caves it was enthralling to listen to her. Lovely singing voice to demo echo and also brilliant with the younger children who were in the group. We learnt a lot and enjoyed the walk up and down from village. Make sure you allow enough time... Really interesting tour around the show cave. Tour guide very knowledgeable and obviously loves caving. The guide's beautiful singing voice demonstrated the magnificent acoustics of the chambers. Would definitely recommend the visit!

We drove to the National Park Car park in Clapham in order to visit the caves and were immediately stung for £4.50 parking. If you drive 20 yards further up the hill you can park on the road for free. Then there was a further charge to walk to the caves (although no-one seems to be checking) and, of course... More

Our group included children from 4 to 16 everyone enjoyed the walk (just over a mile to get there) it was a beautiful sunny afternoon. We all enjoyed the caves and the guide was really interesting. We then had a cuppa and a play in the river by the entrance to the caves.

We enjoyed the pretty walk following the river up to the cave entrance. You can park at the bottom of the trail and it took us about 30mins to get to the ticket cabin. We have a hot chocolate and used the facilities whilst we waited for the next tour to start. We got ready to enter the cave with... More

Get there for opening at 10.00am ( 1 tour an hour ) and you may get what feels like a private tour of the caves. It isn't cheap, but you have to do it if you've never been in a cave before £9 for an adult and it lasts about 50minutes. Money pays for maintenance, staff and electricity. You get... More
