Stop during a ride.

Nice to read the explanation how this become a lake. Quite surroundings with, having the lake at your back, very nice view over several bays. You can also see the Glenora Ferry.

3 of us for dinner on Mon. May 9th. Young waiter (2nd night on job) was very attentive & soooooo pleasant. Cold for May so they had a fire in the fireplace & sat us near it. Nice bread with butter & honey (locally sourced) while we waited for dinner. Plates came hot & very flavourful. 2 had the braised... More

Lake On The Mountain Provincial Park is right on the way when you are taking the Adolphous Ferry. It will only take a few minutes to see this magical lake and the beautiful views across the Adolphous Reach and Prince Edward Bay, but it will be one of your most memorable visits. Or better still, stop for lunch at one... More

I read about this Lake on the Mountain online, so while travelling in the area on a romantic getaway with my husband, I had him take me here. It is kind of neat the elevation difference from the Lake on the Mountain to the lake below on the opposite side of the road but unfortunately it is a quick hit... More

A great spot that has a very good explanation of why the lake is hundreds of feet higher than the the Adolphus reach . To stand over the reach and see the glenorra ferry provides a great picture . Two terri places to eat nearby . Also cabins available for rent Great place to visit .

It's a pretty curious stop (for maybe 5 minutes) on your way somewhere else. The view is superb, the lake striking. But it's weird there is no walking trail. I mean, this gorgeous little lake on the edge of a cliff, and you can't even explore it! One day, this could become a destination, with a little work. Right now,... More

If you're in the area, check it out!
The history is very cool and it will only take you 5 minutes.
The view is pretty, probably more so in the summer months.
