Cynthia and Chania at The Safari Company were a dream to work with to plan our first-time trip to Kenya. They are responsive, kind, knowledgeable and flexible. They came up with creative options to create an amazing itinerary for us while balancing our budget. The fact that they recommend and vet boutique lodging options vs. what most other tour operators recommend makes all the difference. When our flight was delayed and then when the airline changed our flight, they seamlessly handled everything behind the scenes so that we didn’t have to stress about anything. For the entire time we were in Kenya I knew that Cynthia was “on it” which allowed us to completely relax and be fully present on our trip. You will not regret working with The Safari Company!

Wow! We have just had the most wonderful family holiday in Kenya. Very thoughtfully organised by Chania and Cynthia at The Safari Company. We cannot say enough good things about this company!
They helped us organise the perfect itinerary by making helpful suggestions, working with our budget and communicating very efficiently.
From the moment we arrived every detail had been thought through. We are experienced travellers but there are a number of quirks when travelling in Kenya and The Safari Company made the whole experience easy - we felt like VIPs!
Thoroughly recommend our lovely driver David who stayed with us for the trip and became part of the family. His sunny personality, interesting stories and excellent knowledge just added to our holiday. We did not think we needed a driver for the whole of our trip but it was absolutely the right decision.
We also loved the little touches - the goody bags for the kids (very impressed that you catered for both a 16 year old and a 12 year old), the fabulous safari hats and everything in the truck to make the journey comfortable.
Thank you again - we will definitely be back!!

We used The SAFARI Co to organise a trip to Kenya for a safari and in order for us to attend a wedding. They were brilliant at providing various options and we had an amazing trip and loved of all their recommendations. Chania and Cynthia couldn’t have been more helpful and they were very responsive throughout with any queries, helping to craft the perfect Kenyan experience for our family. I would wholeheartedly recommend for anyone looking to travel around East Africa!

We organised our family safari through Chania and her team at The Safari company Ltd and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Planning was smooth and efficient with lots of choices and guidance given on how to make the most of our visit. Staying in a lodge on the edge of the Masai Mara was incredibly comfortable but best of all was the quality of all the guides and drivers who were incredible. Even a last minute request for help touring Nairobi was easily organised. Thank you for making this trip so special.

We chose The Safari Company Ltd because they really understood what kind of experience we were looking for.
Cynthia was excellent at communicating and we exchanged many emails to achieve a programme that suited us. She was always available to answer any questions during our trip too.
Our trip through Kenya and Tanzania (request Joseph M) was amazing, with knowledgeable drivers who ensured we saw everything we had hoped for - including the Big 5 and so much more. (See photos)
We learned so much about the animals, the various cultures and the landscape.
Top tip: If there is an animal you are fixed on seeing do let them know so that they can recommend the best areas for sightings.

We went with The Safari Company for a 15 day trip to Kenya, taking in Nairobi, Amboseli, Tsavo, Mombasa and Diani Beach. They organised everything and the arrangements were fantastic. The recommendations on where to stay were spot on and were fantastic locations for the entire family. Communication between the company and us was spot on and they provided a bespoke itinerary for us. I can't recommend The Safari Company enough. They were simply excellent!

We booked our trip to Kenya with The Safari Company and we didn't have to do a thing the whole time we were there, every little thing was taken care of which made the whole experience a truly relaxing and enjoyable one. We did a 3 day safari in the Masai Mara with the amazing Douglas who made our experience so incredible. He made it his mission to find the big 5 for us and did not disappoint! Whilst in the Masai Mara, we stayed at the most bespoke, personalised camp called Amazing Mara which was selected by the Safari Company and we had the most wonderful time! We stayed at hotels before and after the safari in Nairobi and Naivasha which were also lovely. Overall, an unforgettable experience all down to the The Safari Company!

My wife and I went on a small group tour (11 of us) to Africa and visited both the Serengeti in Tanzania and the Masai Mara in Kenya.
Everything was arranged impeccably. All of the staff with whom we interacted were fantastic, and The Safari Company arranged a spectacular series of outings in which we not only were able to witness Africa’s wildlife in stunningly close proximity, but with an absence of virtually any other humans on our drives.
The accommodations that they arranged were absolutely top-notch.
We had a chance to meet with a couple of the main individuals with the Safari company (Chania and Cynthia) and we were extremely impressed with their knowledge of Africa, the wildlife, the cultures, and the history. They have an extremely thoughtful view of arranging tours, really taking into account the personal preferences of their clients. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

With no time to properly research a 7 night safari and beach experience in Kenya, I was recommended Chania at The Safari Company to create an itinerary from A to Z. Chania and Cynthia took time to really understand the type of experience we wanted and the kind of budget we were looking to spend. Chania even took time for a Zoom call which really gave me confidence in the itinerary. We followed 100% their recommendations and were not disappointed, The choice of accommodation was exceptional and a once in a life time experience. We stayed at the Sentinel Mara Camp hosted by Peter, who is a real professional in his field and the most delightful and caring individual. The camp was amazing and right in the heart of the action. We went on to the Manda Bay Resort which was the perfect compliment to the Mara. Simply arriving there is an exciting adventure of discovery. The quality of experience and food was exceptional and the manager a delightful, caring lady who constantly engaged with all guests. I would definitely recommend The Safari Company to handle any Kenyan itinerary in an authentic and personalised manner. Thank You Chania and Cynthia.

The Naibor Camp in Masai Mara was an intimate and cozy base from which to view the migration especially during these COVID days. We felt safe and tended to throughout our stay. The food was delicious, the beds super comfy and no details were missed during our stay. I would definitely return there.
