It was a super-fun afternoon. 100% recommend for parents and kids who are good swimmers, do not have mobility challenges, and can pull their own weight up repeatedly from the water onto the inflatables. It’s maybe half as hard as getting into a dingy from the water. If that proves difficult, you can just swim around and take in the spectacle of it all. I was able to keep my eye on my kid within close distance from the water.

Staff were thorough in explaining safety rules and training folks to correctly jump onto the “pillow”.

We’re definitely going back next season! I will train to boost my butt-hoisting capacity :)

Awesome experience at Splashifax Halifax! Brought out pre-teen(11)and teen (13- who was not keen to join us), but we all ended up having a fantastic time. Great, active family activity. The timing was just enough and we were all ready to go when they blew the final whistle. We will be back!

Fantastic facility. This is the second summer I’ve taken my kids (7 y.o. & 10 y.o.). Both times I took them during the week, so crowds were minimal. Well supervised. The life guards were very on top of things. The facility was clean and well maintained. The life jackets were all in good shape. The inflatables were challenging, but very attainable for my kids. Very clean and lots of porta-a-potties. Can’t recommend it enough.

What an amazing experience with my family, ages 7, 10, 48 & 55.
We all had so much fun on the inflatables and slides. The lake was the perfect temperature on a hot sunny day.
Take sun lotion that waterproof, you will need it.
I can’t wait for next summer to go again.

Very well organized. No lineups. Very safe. You can do as much or as little as you like. If you're an older person ( like me- 70) you'd better be in half decent shape. Can be hard pulling oneself out of water and some swimming skills are needed. Great time trying to keep up to my grand kids!!!

I had the misfortune of having the day that I had booked in advance fall on a very wet and chilly day. There is no option to re schedule. I took 5 kids for my sons birthday party. We lasted maybe 15 min before we were just too cold. Chattering and numb. The lockers where we put our change of clothes were soaked so all our dry clothes ended of soaked..like soaked right through my backpack. Back to the change room we go needing a warm shower that was mentioned to be available to us. Showers were locked. At least they said they would come and get us at 4:10 (you don’t get the privilege of leaving when you want...you have to wait for a trolley)...they didn’t show up until 4:30. So basically this afternoon costed me $290 for a couple hours of torture. No refund was given and no vouchers to try again on another day. We were offered Buy One Get On for 50%off but there is no way in this world I will spend one more penny on this water park.

This place is simply incredible! My two sons , (12 and 16) were joined by my wife and I, (54 and 53) on what is simply put an American Ninja Warrior sort of course located on and oddly warm lake. We all expected the water to rather cold and honestly I think it was in the mid to low 80's. Our kids had a blast as did me and my wife. I think that my wife and I were the oldest people on the course that day but everyone made us feel right at home and we had soooo much fun. There were other adults looking to be up into their 40's on the course as well. It didn't seem crowded at all as it is a rather large area. My wife was leery of doing this at first but wound up in her words, "having the most fun I have ever had on water". We highly recommend this adventure. The only downside is there is nowhere to change your clothing. There were plenty of lifeguards all seeming to pay attention very well to the guests.

We had a great time- it was safe, fun, challenging, exhausting, scary, thrilling, and full of laughs! Make sure you are a strong swimmer, and in good physical condition (its harder to walk on those floating pads than I thought!) They provide life jackets and grippy socks. The only complaints is that they need more staff checking life jackets so that people can get in the water quicker (we saw 2 batches of people go through, and it takes about 15 minutes at least to get all 200 into the water) which results in you losing time on the obstacles if you are last in line. They also started us 10 minutes late (the staff member admitted they lost track of time) and pulled us out about 5 min early. But the obstacles themselves were epic, and we really appreciated that the kids were allowed to pretty much do whatever they wanted. Good times!!

We had a really great time enjoying the park. It was very clean. We felt very safe with lots of lifeguards nearby even giving us tips on how to best enjoy the park. It was nice to walk to the nearby park to play with the infants that we had with us.

It is $38 for a one and a half our experience on the rides. The only thing that was unfortunate as we were screamed at by the employees at 11:25 that we were likely going to miss the last trolly ride out and then have to wait for an hour and a half if we didn’t leave the park early. When you’re paying for an hour and a half it seems weird to be told if you don’t depart the obstacles early you’re going to miss the ride back. We swiftly left and hustled out to where you catch the trolly rides back to the parking lot… Where we waited for 20 minutes for the trolly to arrive. After this trolly (supposedly the last one out) there were multiple trollies still coming and going. I heard the person who screamed at us state she works in the office all day and gets to crack the whip on the weekend…but that one persons’ actions really took away from the enjoyment 8 people were having.
We definitely got the impression the staff wanted to clear us out so they could enjoy their break before the next group started. That definitely left a bad taste in our mouth…however until then we had really enjoyed the experience.

Went with my family of 4 which included an 11 and 17 year old, we all had a fantastic time! There were plenty of lifeguards which made us feel very safe and yet enough latitude to be able to freely run and jump around, through the obstacles and into the water...so much fun. The trolly ride worked out fine for us and the staff were very friendly and helpful! We loved it. The tickets are non-refundable and it does tell you that when you purchase them, so suggest waiting for the weather forecast before booking if possible.
