About
This is the land that the Bedouin call home, the land that Lawrence of Arabia fought for and the land that ancient cultures, like the Nabataen (same people who built Petra), have marked with their art. Here the desert is a part of life for the thousands of Bedouin who still live here. Although many have chosen to inhabit Rum Village, with some of the conveniences of modern life

I did a one day and night Jeep tour with my friend and it was one of the most joyous and beautiful adventures I've ever had, honestly. Wadi Rum is the most beautiful place I've ever visited, but what made the experience extraordinary was the people. Mohammad and Hussein, our guide, showed my friend and me so much genuine hospitality through long conversations about Wadi Rum and Bedouin culture and history over many cups of Jordanian tea.

Our trip to Jordan was on a student budget so this was the splurge of the trip, and I'm happy with our choice because I think it is a great value for what it includes- an all day private Jeep tour with a fantastic English-speaking guide, comfortable private accommodation in a gorgeous location, an unforgettable stop for watching the sunset over the desert, three big delicious home-cooked meals, sandboarding, transport to and from the village, etc.

Also, we are two young female travellers and I was a bit nervous about safety (the whole 'being in the desert in a foreign country' thing), but Mohammad replied very quickly and politely to my many messages with more details about the accommodation, etc, and even offered to get me in touch with another tour operator that was run by a couple (so 1/2 by a woman). I am so glad that I decided to stick with Magic tours though because I felt extremely safe the entire time. I can't recommend Wadi Rum Magic Tours enough, and my friend and I hope to return to Jordan to spend a few more days exploring Wadi Rum with them soon. Thank you so much for everything Mohammad and Hussein!

We (3ppl) used Wadi Rum Magic Tours for a 1 day trip to explore Wadi Rum desert. The tour was great and we were taken to all famous spots at our own pace. We could decide were we wanted more or less time. We enjoyed the freshly cooked bonfire lunch. Before the trip, I could ask all questions via Whatsapp which was very convenient. We can fully recommend them.

We were on the Wadi Rum Magic Tour in the beginning of February with a friend of mine. First of all, the desert itself is absolutely magical. I have been to around 35 countries but I have never seen anything that impressive. Nevertheless, I am sure that I would not be able to enjoy it that much if I would not be part of this tour. We were picked up from the village and went to see various beautiful locations, we got an amazing dinner done by our guides and spent some time in the camp afterward. Tent was really good, two beds and four warm blankets. The only recommendation would be to take some warm clothes with you if you are planning to travel there in winter so that you can feel more comfortable at night. Our tour guide, Hussein (not sure about the spelling) was great! He was very kind, attentive and did not make us rush so that we could enjoy the tour to the fullest. I also would like to highlight Mohammad to whom we talked before going there. He was also the first person we met before starting the tour. Everything was done on time, perfect organization, nice welcome. I would definitely recommend taking Wadi Rum Magic Tour not only because of the great sightseeing experience but also because of people working there. All of them are hospitable, reliable, honest and just very kind people. It feels like home from the very beginning! The time we spent in Wadi Rum was absolutely unforgettable and big thanks to these lovely people! They made me want to move to the desert :)

Originally my best friend and I booked the tour and one night stay in Wadi Rum as end of our journey through Jordan. Unexpectedly this trip marked the highlight of our vacation.

We had the most beautiful day, including the awesome tour with our super nice guide and the impressive nature of Wadi Rum, a delicous selfcooked meal in the middle of the desert (that we didn't eat dairy or meat wasn't a problem at all), many tea times and finally the feeling of freedom and silence watching the sunset.
After that we went to the camp at last and saw our lovely little cabin for the night. We talked for hours in the beautiful community tent with two other girls from Argentina, Mohammad himself and some of his cousins. It was a fun evening & all our questions referring to the beduin life, their culture in general and their outstanding mentality were happily and properly answerd.

At the end of the day which already felt like staying there for a week we couldn't imagine to leave the next morning and just changed our flights back to Germany in the middle of the night and extended our visit to 5 days in total.
The following days, we didn't feel like tourists anymore but as friends to our hosts.
We did another tour, slept in a cave, talked at the fire and drank tea - it was just lovely!

All the while everyone of Mohammads team was making the greatest effort to make our trip unforgettable - that goal was more than achieved if I may say so.

Now we are already planning our next visit, I can just highly recommend a trip to Mohammad and his team, it was totally worth it!

Booked a 4-hour tour with my husband and 2 young children (5 and 2 y/o). It was absolutely stunning: the scenery, being in the back of an open jeep, climbing the rocks, sliding down the dunes on a snowboard, watching the sunset. When the children got cold, we could sit inside the car. The guide was nice and reliable, we booked the trip very last-minute through WhatsApp but everything was great.

We asked for a customized 3 days in Wadi Rum including a night at the camp, a night camping under the stars, camels, hiking, jeep tour. They customized perfectly and sent us out with our incredibly skilled, funny and knowledgeable guide Aeed, who made the trip so memorable. We loved every second and the whole trip was so affordable!

Although we went in the middle of a summer heat wave, the weather was tolerable as our guides provided more than enough water for us to keep ourselves hydrated. Our guides were very friendly and we felt that they genuinely wanted to give us a fun and memorable experience.

On the morning of our first day, we arrived at the Wadi Rum Village via taxi from Aqaba, which was kindly arranged by Wadi Rum Magic Tours (with no extra charge), where we took our camel ride to the first stop of the jeep tour. The rest of the day we went on a jeep tour and visited various sites in Wadi Rum as well as a pit stop for lunch and to go sandboarding. In the evening we watched the sunset and drank tea at the top of a rock mesa and went to the camp for dinner and sleep.

At night we were able to wander into the desert on our own and stargaze. While we were unable to see the Milky Way, we saw many constellations and shooting stars.

In the morning we ate breakfast and headed out to Burdah Arch on the jeeps. Reaching the arch at the top took about 1.5 hours with small breaks, which involved several sections of bouldering and a small rope section, which our guide helped us get through safely. The hike was intermediate difficulty, and we all were able to reach the top, despite having a diverse collection of hiking experience and body types. The view from the top of the arch was amazing and made the climb worth it. After returning to the start of the hike we had lunch and returned to Wadi Rum Village. Magic Tours also arranged taxis to take us to Petra, which was our next destination.

All four meals we had were very delicious and filling, which were cooked by our guides. During our lunches, we were given plenty of time to rest and eat so we could recharge for the rest of the day.

The camp has bathrooms and showers for both genders as well as tents of various configurations for sleeping arrangements. There are also outlets to charge your electronics. The bathrooms were surprisingly very clean and had 3 toilets, 3 showers, and 3 sinks each. There is both hot and cold water for the bathrooms, but the water reserves ran low in the morning (but this is not surprising since our group was 9 people).

We asked to avoid the camps, because they all just destroy the nature and the landscape. We slept on mattresses under the stars. Even if it was cold during the nights in January, we didn't feel it thanks to the sleeping bags, the blankets organised from our tourguide and the fire we made every evening. We had Mohammed as a guide: he is amazing and loves to be in the desert far away from the camps. Perfect for adventurers. I really recommend it this way. If you like to walk, make sure you climb the highest peak Jabal Umm ad Dami. it's only 1,5 hours up and allows you amazing views. You will see camels on your way. Please pick the garbage you will see. Enjoy!

We booked two day program in Wadi Rum desert and it was very pleasant experience from first to last minute with Wadi Rum Magic Tours. Our program contained some hiking (i have to highlight guided hike to Jabal Al Hash which was very pleasant experience thanks to our guide), some well known places as Burdah rock bridge and we also spent one day in camp and second in the desert "sleeping under stars"... To sum it up, really great experience and thanks to quite lot of chatting with Muhammad and his group we got to know lot of things about beduin life and we also find out that we had very simmilar sense of humour.
