Nearly all the reviews write an equivalent of do it and we write Just Do It Sunday or find the best you can another night. Head to Tha Phae Gate and head west down Soi Ratchadammoen Road unless you are in the Wat Singh area in which case you head east. Why? Because you haven't experienced the total CM without... More

The bazaar is huge with a lot of stalls. You can pretty much get everything here from souvenirs to clothing to food. We got a couple smoothies, a banana thing and chicken on a stick. It all tasted pretty good. We also got some mango sticky rice which we've had better elsewhere. We got some great pictures despite the huge... More

The market is huge and absolutely packed but it's a must-see if you're there on a Sunday. The selection of stands is varied and there's also a lot of music and dancing.

Weekly street-closing market offering all types of clothing, artifacts and food vendors, from surrounding area of Chiang Mai. Heavily attended & crowded.

The Sunday walking street takes over the old city every sunday. A lot of arts and crafts, shakes and street food, its definitely a must see with a huge variety of products. Try to plan your trip within a sunday, you wont regret!

Do haggle....! Even so, much better prices than theNight Bazaar. Food is amazing even though sometimes you're not sure what you're eating.

Can be a little overwhelming at first. There are a lot of people going in both directions, but overall a great experience. Many, many nice items at very reasonable prices. You would be very hard pressed to not to find some sort of trinket to bring home. There is also a lot of street food to be had. Personally, I... More

We visited the Sunday night walking street market in Chiang Mai. There was a plethora of food & all types of merchandise, like clothing, jewelry & other items. This market gets unbelievably crowded (like Times Square on New Year's Eve!) so I highly recommend going early. We were told it didn't start until 5pm but got there at 4:30p &... More
