This was a pleasant and peaceful walk through the forest. There weren't really a whole lot of flowers though, so the name is a bit deceiving. Overall the least impressive of all the botanical gardens on the island. Still, a nice relaxing spot to tour and had some nice views. It was nice that they gave you a guide map and ID chart of the plants.

A lovely couple of hours exploring the Flower Forest. Lots of stunning plants of all shapes and sizes interspersed with many different birds, the occasional mongoose and even a green monkey!
Amazing to see some of the flowers that are house plants in the UK growing wild.
The cafe was great serving cold drinks and a tasty slice of coconut bread which we enjoyed on the terrace under the watchful eye of a family of Grackles who were keen to hoover up our crumbs! The staff were friendly and happy to chat.
Would highly recommend this location to any nature lover. We will definitely revisit the Flower Forest if we're lucky enough to be back in Barbados one day in the future.

This is an amazing garden full of beautiful sub- tropical plants. The trees and huge plants create a wonderful canopy so you are almost always walking under foliage. There is a suitable path for wheelchairs but some of the inclines would be difficult. The YouTube film does not do it justice. Well worth a visit!

A wonderful place, our favourite garden in Barbados. It combines towering palms and trees with open groves and some loverly views and is wonderfully peaceful after leaving the bustle of the coast. Following the well made paths, there are lots of flowers and very good labelling but it’s is the sheer tropical lushness that is almost too much to take in. Also a good cafe with light lunches.

It was beautiful and peaceful to walk around this very well kept forest. I was impressed by flowers I never seen before. The tour takes about 2h if you visit every corner of it. Some points are amazing as there are breathtaking views. There's also a restaurant, which we stopped by and the food was absolutely great. Highly recommended

Hi,
Is this attraction good for young kids? My sons are 3 and 1 years old.
Thanks!

Plenty of space for young children to work off energy, it’s the biggest garden in Barbados by almost twice. Ice cream, lollies, juices and soft drinks. Fish cakes, hot dogs, chips and sandwiches. Yes, we think it is a great place for the whole family to visit.

We will be traveling by bus touring around the island. Is there a bus route/bus stop that is near the Flower Forest?
