This is a remarkable place, which I would recommend for families with children. It's mostly wheelchair accessible, although the tour does require a tram ride, so that could present a problem. The gardens surrounding the entrance to the cave are beautiful, with picnic tables, so it could make for a nice way to spend the afternoon.

Loved it! Your taken in a tram car deep within the cave as someone narrates the history of the cave. I found it to be informative and absolutely amazed! They make few stops where your able to get out of the tram and take pictures. We love stuff like this!

They actually drive you through the cave in this tour, which was a surprise to us. There is a tour guide who tells about the history of the cave. The tram stops twice to let you get out and walk around. Very enjoyable.

The guided tour takes you via an electric tram into the cave system. our tour guide was extremely enthusiastic and informative. The tour starts with a short filmshow explaining the geology of the island in simple terms. You are then taken into the caves for a tour lasting around 40 minutes. For claustrophobic people (Like me!) There is no problem.... More

It a thing of beauty they give you the history of how the caves was formed then you go on a tram which takes you 70 foot down in the cave. the way how the cave is constructed is very hard to describe

Some of the formations looked like large ice formations. There was also some amazing waterfalls through out the caves, and some of the streams were crystal You... More

We arrived quite late, just in time for the last tram trip. Felt a bit "Jurassic Park"! We were still getting used to the fact everything seems to close about 4pm in Barbados. Therefore we didn't do anything else other than go down into the cave.

We drove to Harrison Cave as we entered the main lobby we were greeted with beautiful displays of the caves and a souvenir shop. As a group of 10 our scenic descent to the caves via the elevator. We browsed through a couple of craft stall and then entered the cave. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the breathtaking... More
