First time doing a houseboat holiday, and we had a fantastic time. We had our dog with us and he just loved it to, it was the end of the season so we had the lake to ourselves. We found lovely little sandy beaches to dock on a night so our dog loved splashing around and playing in the sand. The hot tub was just lovely it’s heated by gas so gets nice and hot for cool nights. It was such a chilled out holiday for us.

Another outstanding time! This is my third trip with Sunshine Houseboats and did we ever luck out with the weather! For a mid September trip, we were all a bit nervous but all for nothing! Can't say enough about how great it was out there after all the tourists have gone home....we virtually had the lake to ourselves! There were a couple of deficiencies with our older boat...minor stuff like missing screens on the windows which made for a morning ritual of killing flies but that wasn't dampening anyones spirits! The beaches were phenomenal and pristine! You are pretty much left alone but if there is any trouble at all, they are there for you! Can't wait to go again!

Phenomenal company and experience. Highly recommend over Shuswap Lake. One of the best camping experiences I've ever had.

I've been house boating with sunshine for 6+ years, it's always a seamless check-in and smooth departure. The lake itself is wonderful because it's not too busy and its usually pretty easy to find a private beach to park at night which is wonderful. My friends and I try to make this an annual trip because of how much fun we always have.

Couldn’t ask for better weather. Lake had quite a bit of driftwood- so needed to be careful with water sports and made it difficult to find an open space to beach that wasn’t congested with wood. Sad for the fire and- but understandable given the forest fires. The boat Escapade had A LOT of deficiencies and the list was given to the crew when returning from our holiday. They basically shrugged it off and said they had 3 hours until their next charter- so the next guests and the guests after them would also have leaking roofs, screenless windows ( and with no air conditioning and mosquitos) you need screens to cool down the boat etc. I really hope they take the off season to address the functional and safety concerns noted…. Otherwise- if they don’t and for the price of the holiday- it’s a rip. Also- we had 6 kids that would’ve LOVED to do the waterpark upon our return which was in by 10am. They were a little rude and said- no we are booked. They should make allowances for charter guests around the arrival times to have the availability to attend. After all we had just spent $4500 for 4 days- and would’ve paid for the park but were refused.
