Stopped by Trueman's today to get an ice cream. What a wonderful place. They had lots of ice cream flavour and different style of cones (regular, waffle, etc). We both had a large ice cream (2 scoops) on a waffle cone and it came to $14... They are also very generous on their scoop sizes.

Highly recommended!

We stopped here to break up a longer road trip. The ice cream is some of the best I've ever had. My kids loved the bouncy pillow, and there are some other fun activities for families with smaller children.

There is a sunflower field close to the activities, but a very nice staff member offered to take us up to a farther field that had better blooms at the time via a tractor ride. If you are able to walk up the hill to this field, I suggest you do that as the tractor ride was bone jarring. hahaha My 10 year old loved it though! The second field was beautiful! The problem with it, though, is that we were absolutely swarmed with mosquitos as soon as we set foot in it. We're city folk and didn't think to bug spray ourselves, so that's on us. We spent about 30 seconds in the beautiful field and then walked as fast as we could away from it. We got covered in bites very quickly. (The bugs were not a problem in the family activity area next to the main building).

We didn't pick any blueberries as we were just there for a quick stop. I'd definitely go back for the ice cream! :)

Highly recommend this delicious homemade ice cream! I enjoyed lemon raspberry and it was a delight! The only disappoint was that they ran out of salted caramel right before we ordered - which is what my kids had planned on getting. However both were happy with their choices - strawberry and fundy fog. It looked like they had lots of fun farm activities, which we will check out the next time we visit (and we will be back!)

Atmosphere was very welcoming, picnic tables all around for seating as well as live music.
I had the strawberry cheesecake ice cream and it was the best ice cream I've had in a long time, boyfriend had the chocolate and also really liked it. Will definitely come again!

We've been here a few times, most recently this fall. Always a great, friendly experience. Ice cream and other products are amazing. Wish we lived closer but it's always a detour on our way to PEI or NS.

Stopped in for the first time to check out the homemade goodies and we were not let down. Great location for families and kids. Nice selections of pies, jams, pickles, cookies and of course the ice cream bar. This would be a go to place to load up for long weekend festivities. It will be on the agenda anytime we are in the area.

This is a very interesting place - homemade ice cream with some neat flavors, waffle cones and donuts made on the spot. We were having fun outside until the owner came out and started screaming at customers to get off his giant trampoline. He said the cost was $5 to bounce on it. There was no one supervising it - just a big trampoline in a field with a rope fence around it and children everywhere looking at it, wanting to play.
Here's a suggestion to the owner: make it free, or get rid of it. The way you handled the situation made us decide to never go back.

This was highly recommended by a friend we were visiting in Nova Scotia. The ice cream is their own. There is plenty of space and activities for both young and old. Well worth the short drive off of the TCH.

The ice cream here is homemade and delicious. Waffle cones are also really good. It is definitely some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Be careful of the sunflower maze. It is elaborate and not easy to navigate.

When my children and I are in the Sackville area, we always try to make it to the Trueman Blueberry farms for a delicious homemade ice cream cone. I love that they serve it on a waffle cone and we have tried different flavours everytime we visit. It is well worth the drive if you are in the area.
