- Justus ASingapore, Singapore14 contributionsGood experienceNice place. A bit hot in the afternoon.. actually reached there at 11am was still cooling but... as the day proceeded it started to burn.. but that is just the weather... For the attraction it is more like for older folks.. kind a chill.. not a fun activity place for youngster. So over all is great. The park is still in the midst of growing so the trees are not all in place. Might come over in another 2 or 3 years down when everything is in orderVisited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten November 10, 2023

We had booked a private car and choosed 4 sightseeing to visit and one of them was Singha Park. We had no expectation in advance. We Got very surpriced over the sove of the park Area and the content. It’s an exceptionel visit with kids and a good break for a day trip. We choose to rent a golf car that we could drive our selfe and followed the path around the parl that included farmers place, small zoo with petting animals but also a giraf and zebras. A Big activity Area and some restaurants and cafés. You can easily spent 2 hours in the Area before you continue the journey. Chiang Rai now suffers from unhealthy air pollution (smoke related) for 6 months of the year (November to May), which unfortunately makes Singha Park an unpleasant place to visit for half of the year. Most days you can't even see the beautiful mountains that surround the park. So, if you are interested in good health avoid a visit here from November to May. Unfortunately, the recent balloon festival was badly affected by very unhealthy smoke pollution in the district.

What a tranquil place to visit! Excellent views and great staff in the restaurant.
Fantastic view of the rows of tea plants from the restaurant. Looked for more in depth info but could not find any such thing. Would have made it even better.
Great food in the restaurant utilising tea. Very friendly staff.

Not really worth it IMO. Wasn’t planning on seeing the entire park so I just wanted to go for a long walk on my own. Got told by park security that you even have to pay to do that while I was on the trail. A bit of a tourist trap if you ask me, probably decent if your brining your family.

Very nice view to spend afternoon till dawn. Me and friends when there after going to the temples. It is 15 minutes motorbike away from the white temple. Very family friendly place. though the coffee being served tastes the same. The food on the other side taste better with beer.

Huge area designed to be instagrammable. Rolling hills & meadows, the restaurant and coffee shop has decent food and good views. The Farm Festival was just starting, but if not there is not much else to do.

Huge park. Nice to relax here with the tram ride or bicycle ride. I especially loved the cafe/souvenir shop. Lovely Chiang Rai products for sale here.

Would it be difficult to get a Grab from the park back to Chiang Rai center?

Hello. My husband and I are going to be attending this fabulous event in February 2020. I've done quite a bit of research but am unable to see if there are balloon rides as part of the event (other than those for the twenty lucky newlyweds). Do they have balloon rides available for the rest of us? And if so, is it something that we need to reserve ahead or can we arrange for the ride when we arrive in Singha Park? Thanks so much for your help. Take care. bobby

Hi Bobby, I have not seen balloon rides in our tour of Singha park. We took a tour on the spur of the moment, they have buggies touring the park and dropping off tourists in various locations but I didn’t see any balloon. However this does not mean it doesn’t exist. Sorry i could not be more helpful. enjoy Thailand,
Best regards

Hi there, I know it doesn’t cost anything to enter the park. What are the coasts of the activities?
Zoo?
Zip line?
Climbing wall?
Farm?
Written February 27, 2018
Hi, i dont see any zipline or wall climbing. Dont know if those are still available or operating. As for the Zoo and Farm, they are free. You only have to pay for the park tour bus (THB100/200). They are scheduled and usually full, so you probably have to wait. Or you may opt for the private buggy tour which is THB1500. Hope that helps.

The zip line and climbing wall is still there but because of my age I didn’t enquirer on the cost. However, i seen a lot of people riding the zip line so I don’t think it;s very expensive.

Hey guys, I'm planning to get Singha Park of Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai Old Town, yet I can't ride the scooter/motorbike via 200km from Chiang Mai to the Park. May I know any day tour with affordable price or the bus from Chiang Mai to Singha Park?
Thank you!
Written October 10, 2017
If I was you go Chiang rai for the day by mini bus it's about 2 hours from Chiang mai. Go the singha statue but it's only worth seeing for 5 mins unless you decide to take a pack lunch as this is a great place for that. please though make sure you go the white temple it's amazing place to see and spend a few hours 5*. make sure you take your sunglasses as it's very bright. all are free to enter the grounds But temple itself is about 20 bhat which is around 45p. singha had a zoo etc but small and better places to see that in Thailand. If you don't ride a motorcycle which is advisable as both are way out of town try getting a taxi for the day but that's the pricey option
