My boyfriend and I booked in for a last-minute group ride. We were lucky enough to be the only two who booked, so we got a bit more personal treatment and time with the horses. The staff were friendly, open to questions and natural with conversation. This was my boyfriend's first time riding a horse and he felt immediately at... More

Whether you are a beginner or experienced rider, the stable can accommodate you. The ride is through the desert to the Rio Grande where there is a great photo op. The proceeds go to the horse rescue so you can feel good about supporting the animals at the same time as enjoying a ride.

We took a trail ride during our stay at the Hyatt Tamaya Resort. This was such a wonderful chance to relive my past. I had horses and rode quite frequently back in my day. But living out in the NYC area i dont get that chance. Andrew was our guild and he was great. He made the ride exceptional. We... More

We rode through the desert to the Rio Grande river. It was very enjoyable. I am an intermediate rider. I had a great horse. The wrangler was very nice and personable. If I had the time I would have taken a second ride later on the week.

A stable where they rescue abused and abandoned horses. I walked down just to look- ended up staying the day and helping- one of the most rewarding things I've done. Loved it! Great people, all volunteers.

Some stables you just know have horses that are so burnt out, you feel bad just considering riding there. NOT here. Horses are well cared for, rescued and well trained, safe, and very responsive for the most part! Fantastic NM desert trails all the way to the Rio Grande. Can't beat that photo opp. Trail guides are cool and fun.... More

the trail ride was the right length for beginners as were the horses. We were a party of six and had four trail guides with us. Perfect.
