After a walk through the forest, we crossed this beautiful bridge. Very beautiful view. We didn't cross the other bridge but next time we want to go earlier in the day so we can walk the entire circuit! Recommended!

There are in fact two 'passerelles' (Himalayan bridges), one over the river Ebron, the other over the Drac. If you are fit and eager, you can walk a loop over both in one day provided you take the boat "La Mira" across Lake Monteynard from one bridge to the other. Check timetables as it stops over the lunch period. This review is about the Ebron walk, which is the more interesting of the two. From Villarnet or from the small parking area by the Pont de Brion, the walk across the Ebron Himalayan bridge to Treffort (or vice-versa) takes between 1-1.5hrs one way depending on your speed and predilection for admiring views and taking photos. The walk is mostly shady through woods, which is great in the hot summer months. There are no significant climbs, and there are some options as to exactly which route you follow. Either way, the views are terrific. The metal bridges are very safe and are tensioned to avoid significant wobble. The best and most practical itinerary is to head from Villarnet or Pont de Brion in the morning and to eat at one of the several options in Herbelon or Treffort at mid-day, then make your way back in the afternoon. The opposite direction gives you no options for a restaurant lunch, nor for whiling away the time watching the surfers, kite surfers, sailing boats etc... on lake Monteynard, which attracts 'afficionados' because of the almost permanent winds blowing across the lake. The whole area is very scenic.

Nice 3km walk from the beach car park, the bridge is not for the faint hearted:-)
It is stable, but in big wind it can move a bit. Its full safe but your adrenalin will be sky high.

Magnificent footbridge be careful it moves a lot when there are people and it can be scary😱, to get there with children I recommend, the passage on your right path seen panoramic where you will have 200 m of big climb a little hard but after the flat calm until the footbridge, rather than the forest path which only goes up! On the other hand, for the return it's perfect, if like us you don't get to the next footbridge. We left the vineyard parking lot, round trip 6 km. It’s magnificent👍, paid parking €4.50
