Was still raging even in -30C temperature, some nice ice features had formed. Car park was not cleared of snow so had to park on side of road, but trail had been walked so was fairly compacted to walk on.

Bucket List: Visit every Provincial Park in Ontario. This one was a blast from the past. We spent a few years living up in this area running a resort. Whenever we had time off and means of transportation we would come to Ragged Falls. It...More

Waterfallsofontario.com rates Ragged Falls 4/5, "large waterfall" with moderate access. All true! You can get a 2 hour pass which is cheap but don't... spend more time! If you get a day pass you can use it at the other provincial parks too (and vice...More

The falls are amazing, just go there before you go to Algonquin Park! The climb is not that hard and the distance is very short. Make sure to walk a little further if you reach the fences, because you can get on some rocks on...More

Good place to visit and do some hiking, good for photos. Depending on the time of year the view of nature and changing colours of the leaves, the trip is as relaxing or demanding as you choose.Enjoy

I'm a frequent visitor to Algonquin but this was the first time that I took a stop at ragged Falls. I've seen a lot of beautiful places but this may have been one of my favorites in the park.

About 1/2 hour east of Huntsville off Hwy 60, is this provincial park. Cost to park only had one option at $14.00 for the day, which is a ripoff if only staying for an hour or 2!! It's a short 15 minute walk uphill through...More

The view from start to end is so tranquil and serene. Spending many hours paddling to the falls and back. Pondering time around the patch of water grass, the water lilies, the water hyacinth, watching the multi coloured dragon flies fluttering their wings are precious...More

We hiked this trail on a rainy day, was not overly busy. Car park is $14 a vehicle which is very pricy. We had a 3 yr old and a 7 yr old who were able to handle the hike. Some steep parts, lots of...More

If your canoeing from the river below the falls there is an area that you could leave your canoe, in a way pushed off aside along the shoreline, then just hike up to the top of the falls.
