Visited the mountains during a trip in April / May 2016. Ample parking, and a short walk up to the Telerifico to the top. We arrived on a very warm spring day with clear views expected, and the top didn't disappoint. We had a beer at the cafe at the top overlooking the fantastic views, and also had a picnic... More

I used the Fuente De Telerifico twice in October 16 with my brother. 1st time we arrived about 10 am on a cloudy Sunday morning and had to wait about an hour. We walked from the top on a long circular route back to the car park. We opted for the fairly (last few years) recent route that cuts out... More

We went in late September and the lines were modest. We opted for the one-way ticket as we wanted to walk down. The first 1.5 hours are downhill and then you have to choose: go to Espinama (and walk about 2.2 miles back to the Teleferico) or go "directly" to Fuente De. We choose the latter and were surprised how... More

Get there early to avoid waiting. We were there to buy tickets just before 9am. Not busy at all so no problem. The words I will use do not come close to explaining the beauty of the mountain, both views from the bottom and top. Oh and also on the way down. Breathtaking, amazing, fabulous.....We ran down route PR24 took... More

We went in July on a Sunday so was very busy. Had a 2 hour wait for the cable car but you just wait for your number to be called so we were able to get lunch and chill out in the sunshine whilst we waited. It is well organised and although the cable car ride is very quick the... More

The day we went was beautifully clear and a weekday. Apparently queues can be 2 hours long at weekends but we waited only half an hour or so. It was worth it! In spite of being on dozens of cable cars before, mainly for ski purposes, this one is still spectacular. The views at the top are breathtaking and it's... More

If you have a good head for heights or even if you don't, this is a must do. The views as you ascend & from the to are truly spectacular.

This cable transport takes you 750 metres up to a magnificent landscape, appr. 2,000 metres in the Picos de Europa. Take your time to walk along cliffs and gletschers, a beautiful trip. With my fear of height I had to overcome my troubles, but it was definitely worth the stress. Absolutely great experience. And: down to the ground station is... More

Amazing steep cable car trip up to the top of the mountain. It was covered in thick snow at the top and my husband and kids loved it. There is a large cafe at the top which was a welcoming refuge from the cold. It cost around €50 for a family of 5 and it was well worth it.

Went in April which meant very short queue which was super. It was snowing on top of the mountain so didn't spend much time outside but was lovely to see the snow and views when clouds cleared and enjoyed a hot chocolate in the cafe.
