About one hour’s drive from Guilin downtown. Entrance fee for adult is 55 CNY.
Inside, tourists have three ways along the canal: by foot, by boat (30 CNY one way) and by electronic car (10 CNY one way).
The scenery is not bad, but it requires a certain degree of Chinese history knowledge to appreciate the scenic spot.
Walking around the park takes around 2 hours. Watching locals washing clothes and food in the river is somewhat fun, too.

This dam has been there for thousands of years and has an incredible history known all around China and the world. You can see it for yourself and also walk along a beautiful waterway either in the day or at night. Great place for romance.
