    Good swimming beach Padong Padong
Parked our scooters across the road 500,000IDR Paid entrance fee they class an adult over 10 years. A short walk down steps to the beach. Lovely swimming beach surf boards to hire 10,000 DR drinks available. Definitely worth a visit as some beaches down south are too rough to swim. Not this one.

    Bali family vacation.
The beach was very small and overcrowded. Toilets facility was available but small and not clean. Few old local ladies kept trying to sell us stuffs even if we say no. They don’t speak English plus not friendly at all. If you are a beach goer you might want to discover some other beaches that might be bigger and better.

    Other better beaches
Tiny beach down many stairs part of which is very narrow. When you get there, it’s was packed, sardine style. Due to its size, people were sitting on towels etc relatively close to the breaking water and occasionally, it would come further up the beach wetting them and their belongings. Just to give it a further atmosphere ( not ), they were burning rubbish ( of which there is plenty ) at the back of the beach, so you got the acrid smell of the smoke whilst you were supposed to be enjoying the scenery. The water looked good, the surfers were good to watch, but the place was far too busy, there was nowhere to sit as it was so busy, the piles of rubbish were unpleasant and even the vendors on the beach were not making it any better as they piled up bits of coconut they were chopping in every increasing piles. Oh, and if you needed the loos and didn’t want to go in the water, you’d better have had your shots first…… not clean and then they charge you for visiting 🤔

Padang Padang Beach crowded but superb
Small sandy beach with mostly sand in the water, gets a bit rocky as tide goes out but still very swimmable. Strong currents as the tide goes out. Loads of surfers mostly beginners go in about to the waves outside the reef. Not a big swim and nice steady waves, just be careful as tide goes out and waves break onto hidden rocks. Small beach doubles in size at low tide.plenty of small drinks stalls and warungs. Fresh corn on cob 25k or satay (10 sticks 40k) cooked on the beach. Gets very busy in July/August around 12-2pm. But lovely spot if you don’t mind the people. Steps down are solid and reasonably easy but o way back up it take a few stops. Toilets at top better than ones on the beach but an effort to get back up to. Entrance fee to beach 15k (80p).

    Nice beach!
Nice beach and looks incredible, though you need to be careful swimming only within the flagged area. Getting to the beach requires walking some really steep steps, so bear that in mind, as you also have to walk up the stairs. There was a lot of people and we also saw some monkies.

    Beautiful but crowded beach
Aesthetically, this was my favorite beach I visited in Bali. It had beautiful waters and gorgeous views of rock formations on the beach. However, the beach is overrun and if you do manage to find a spot to lay out, the workers will put up sunbrellas for other visitors and block your sun. There is a spot further up the beach that is less visited.

    Over crowded, underwhelming beach
Honestly, we were underwhelmed. The beach was extremely crowded. 15K/ foreigner to get in. The walk down through the rock cave-like area was honestly the coolest part. Unfortunately, there is nothing special about this beach. We came and went all under 30 minutes.

    Padang Padang Beach
Lovely sandy beach nestled under a cliff. Bit busy but the water was calm and underfoot in the water soft sand. A few places to buy drinks and a reggae vibe. Good for everyone.

    Underwhelming
We heard this was one of the best beaches in Uluwatu and a “must visit” but we found it was a very small beach, and quite overcrowded. You have to pay to go down, and once there, there were very few umbrellas and as the tide/waves were coming in, it meant the first two rows of belongings were soaked through/washed out to sea, so people couldn’t really sit down to relax. It was a very idyllic setting, beautiful cliffs, turquoise waters and lovely to swim in, with lots of surfers. There is a small beach bar and a few stalls selling items like sarongs & drinks. We only stayed for an hour or two, we could only class it as a visit rather than somewhere to enjoy a full beach day. If we were to come to Uluwatu again, we would find another, bigger and more relaxing beach to go to.

The trip to one of the beaches called Padang Padang Beach was really tiring. When we got to the bottom it turned out the beach was very clean and nice, lots of people were playing surf boards, so this was a very fun experience, we could bathe on the beach, the waves weren't too big so We were very happy, there was a changing room and the bathroom was also very clean

Lots of stairs to descend (and ascend) and a dark cave like entrance made this beach a no go area for my sister who had hip mobility restrictions. I walked down solo and the small beach was ram packed with 20/30 year olds.

Was inspired by the movie and all, and was very disappointed. There is rubbish in the water, many people and not enough space. Really recommend to go to any other beach in the area. They all are nicer

Too dirty and crowded. Dogs and monkeys fight on beach makes it very noisy and unsafe. Very steep steps with sands on it makes it very dangerous AVOID AVOID AVOID
