They charge 35,000 Rp for the entrance only and have to pay another 100,000 for the dance performance. The performance lasts an hour. Visitors were continued to allowed in even its 30 minus after it had started. They were placed sitting on the steps and on the floor which was disturbing. Overall, the performance is nothing special. Anyone could have... More

There are many places to watch Kecak dance but Uluwatu temple has the best one due to the stage background with the sunset view. It is unique compared to other places. It cost INR 100,000 per person for entrance ticket. The kecak dance is performed in daily basis from 1800 to 1900.

A visit to Uluwatu Temple to see the cliff face and open seas, and a few of the local monkeys is a nice afternoon. On a good weather day you'll get a lovely sunset photo. The Kecak and Fire Dance is a nice finish to the visit for a traditional show - get there no later than 545pm to the... More

Kecak Dance was a Balinese cultural experience. The show started off slowly and gradually evolved into a performance that has humour as well as visual spectacular. The experience was further enhanced by the beautiful sunset. Beware of monkeys though as a monkey tried to take stuff from the spectators and was chased away by the staff.

We walked from Ulu Watu temple by descending stairs to an amphi theatre with beautiful backdrop of ocean and setting Sun. There is separate admission ticket for the program. The performance starts puncually by 6 pm so one should reach the place a bit early to occupy vantage seats to enjoy the spectacular dance from the begining, with enchanting skyline and... Got story lines and worth to watch. Best sun set view. Remember to bring umbrella , sunglasses and hat along. It is quite hot while waiting the sun set and show to start.

We really have a great time to watch the show, despite the hot and over crowed tourists keep coming in. The synopsis of the show helps in let us understand about the story of the Ramayana. It is really an impressive opening entrance when 70 over men came in with their "Cak, ke-cak, ke-cak, ke-cak" chant and as the background... More

Uluwatu Temple was one of the highlights of our Bali trip. The dance completeld our evening. We travelled from Jimbaran so the journey was about an hour and a half. We loved the magical sensation watching the sunset. The downside is that when the sunsets -several insects fly around the lights and they bite. So important is insect repellent and... More
