Worth the crowds for the Kecak dance. While the view was quite amazing, I'm not sure it'd be worth it alone, better to combine this with a sunset visit and enjoy the Kecak dance while watching the sun set with the temple in silhouette. Definitely...More

Beautiful, breathtaking views from this cliff temple. Monkeys there are very naughty, they tried to catch my sunglasses! After sunset we saw there a traditional dance.

We went early in the morning, to avoid the huge amount of (Chinese) tourists. The view is absolutely breathtaking. There are monkeys and watch you hair clips and sunglasses.

Cliff top temple. While the temple is like any other temple however the location in particular makes it like nothing else. We reached around 5 and missed the Kecak dance as all the tickets were sold. Temple entrance is open only for worshiping (well I...More

Stopped by for the Fire Dance. Interesting show however, As suggestion, you should not be charged for temple entrance and for the dance. The number of people allowed to see the show should somehow match the size of the arena- we ended up being squashed...More

The temple is set on top of a cliff. There is a paved walkway along the cliff with view points. There is plenty of parking space available with normally gets filled up towards evening by people coming to watch the Kechak dance which is done...More

Hi there I recently visited Bali couple of days ago. I went to this jimbaran bay. It is very known for its seafood to find vegetarian food may be a little difficult hope u get it but not sure. And Uluwatu is beautiful place... More
We are looking to visit the temple for the one night we are in uluwatu. We should arrive to our hotel around 6, 6:30 and the temple is about 10 minutes away. I know the temple will still be closed, but will it be possible to walk around and take in the view. I know there is a dance the occurs at night that starts at 6, so I am unsure if that would affect this. Thank you!

The place is open till late evening. Temple, tourist and foreigner are not allowed to enter. It's more for the view and kecak dance at sunset this is famous. Be prepared to walk up steep and keep things safe from the monkeys. More
