With friends visiting from Nashville, we brought them here for the beautiful views of The Smokies. While there a wedding was taking place....awfully cold day for the bride, but what a great backdrop for the event.

Absolutely beautiful! The temperature was 15* and according to the weather report, felt like 1*, so we couldn't stay long. The mountains were covered in snow and it was one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.

We always go to Jump Off Rock for an amazing sunset. Bring a little happy hour snack and enjoy the view as the sun sets over the mountain range.

The view is amazing at this spot although it can be tricky getting there. The Laurel Parkway is curved and changes names plus some GPS systems sometime tell you to go through gated communities, which do not work unless you live there or are visiting...More

Great place to take a few pictures or sit and enjoy the view. There are also hiking trails leading down the mountain.

Took the short drive out of Hendersonville up the winding road through the Laurel Springs community to this scenic spot. Nice view of the mountains. I am sure in the fall the colors will be very pretty.

That is for the viewer to judge. I got to go for sunset and see the blue of the blueridge but the sunset was so beautiful also.

You don't have to hike the trails, you're parking, literally 150' from the rock and there are benches that allow you to extend your stay. Depending on when you go, you might consider a jacket, it gets very breezy up there... More

No water. Top of a mountain. You wouldn't want to jump!
