A wonderful selection of ceramics, and if you buy from there really well packed up to travel home. Also lots of great mohair products, if a little expensive. There is also a cafe and another two shops. Well worth a visit.

We were pleased to find that it was still there after our visit four years previously. It has some lovely pottery and we bought another piece.

This is a place, where you can find something genuine different - not mass market produced in China ... it does come at a price, though, but absolutely worthwhile

We love their socks. We always land up with buying things. It's a nice place to have a look around as you leave the monkeys, cheetahs or birds. We also love feeding the angora goats!

We bought a beautiful ceramic guinea fowl and once we got it home realised just what high quality pottery this is; it has pride of place and were we to return we would purchase other items since they are unusual and the guinea fowl has had admiring comments. Thanks.

The factory was closed when we visited but we had come to shop! Best prices and best choice - we'd purchased an item on a previous visit to SA at the shop on Knysna Quays but it was nice to visit the factory and see the whole range. Lovely pieces, great for gifts and great to keep as a reminder... More

Porcupine is a creative hub with the craftsmen on site and the most fabulous products. Modern mixes beautifully with tradition and gives a range of ceramic products that are truly stunning. We always try and schedule a visit if in the area and never come away empty handed, funky African ceramics sit perfectly in our little Devon home and remind... More

We visited Porcupine Ceramics and the manager was so nice to give us a little tour to see how they make everything. The workers all smiled and waved as we came through and allowed us to observe their skills at work. We also bought a beautiful piece we can't wait to put in our home! Yitzy and Leeby
