The view from the Pointe du Raz is quite decent but not spectacular. The parking fee is not cheap (but the money goes towards maintenance of the paths and facilities) and after walking the loop down to the point, we were left feeling a little...More

Dear Michael T, You're right, Pointe du Raz isn't the only impressive natural site in Brittany. So what is unique ? The vue on the natural stream of the raz de Sein, one of the strongest in Europe, and the shape of the point, actually...More

Not our first visit here, but it never fails to impress. The amount of information about the site and locality has increased in recent years and the outdoor exhibition adds to the historical information available on site. There is a choice of paths depending upon...More

If you like being ripped-off and still being made to feel like a fool on top of that, then this place is excellent. They lure you into it with the promise of free parking (for the first 30 minutes). Then, they make you walk as...More

JFreitas2014, The 1st free 30 minutes allow to turn around, to go to the shops or to take information in the visitor center freely. The visit of the natural site can't be done in 30 minutes, and as in any other touristical place, it's a...More

Worth the trip, might even be better on a stormy day. Count 30mn walk to go from the parking (6.50€ day fee, supporting the maintenance of this protected natural wonder) to the Pointe du Raz. Easily accessible even in wheelchair. Views are stunning with quite...More

Well laid out paths but best to wear good sturdy footwear. Not suitable for wheelchair users. Interesting exhibition in Tourist Centre showing local heritage and nature. There are a number of different walks possible, a circular walk plus coastal path to Pointe du Van. Vegetation...More

The Pointe itself is OK, sort of like Cornwall's Lands End. If you can, walk there along the coast path. The car park is a rip-off and leads you through tacky trinket shops and cheap food outlets before you get to walk to the Pointe....More

Dear PhileasDevon, I just want to explain you that the money of the parking contribute in maintaining the natural site of Pointe du Raz, but also natural sites (Baie de Trépassés and Pointe du Van) with free access. It allows to clean it up daily...More

We visited Pointe du Raz on a calm and sunny day. I think it is more fascinating to visit this viewpoint on a stormy day with the wild Atlantic Ocean.

You can park your car nearby and then you walk by the sea for 20 minutes. In spring there are yellow flowers everywhere and the sea is deep blue. You arrive to the famous spot the lighthouse. The view is fabulous !

Great views. Do not miss the walk around the coast to visit the tip with the lighthouse. View on the islands is amazing. You can take also a longer hike down to plage des trepasses. A full day out. Very nice information centre limited restaurants.
