Having visited many lighthouses in the continental US, I did not expect the Arecibo Lighthouse to be a playground with a tiny little lighthouse. Puerto Rico is a very rocky land. As such, Arecibo isn't actually a beach like you'd find along the east coast of the US. If you want to go up to an elevation 100 or 150... More

2 adults, 1 child=$34 a Wednesday in February. "Park"( it looks more like a playground), empty and still charging full price?!?!?!?! Ridiculous!

back in the days it was a free entrence, now if the only thing you want to see , visit is the "light house", you have to pay for the whole amusement park.

Lovely short excursion, location and views worth the fee. Great for young families it has a cute kids water program park. Sad little zoo but a few cute historical attractions including a Pirates cave and small aquarium attraction. Very clean.

Star ratting -1 ⭐️ Do your self a favor and keep your hard earned .... kids pool area half the "attractions" didn't spray and the "hot tub" was colder than the ocean behind the lighthouse at the FREE beach and there was a smoked joint flooring in the tub.... light house was ehhh Caba Roho lighthouse is nicer and it's... We stopped here because I like lighthouses. A bit of a disappointment. It was very pricey to enter ($12/person) and it was mainly a elementary/middle school aged park. The lighthouse was cool, but not worth the price paid. There was a food stand, but with all the basic kid food - burgers, nuggets and pizza. Restrooms on site. It was... More

Great place to take in the scenery of Arecibo. Loved that I could take in the history & I could walk right to the beach.

The lighthouse is interesting and the views are all spectacular! You can go into parts of the old lighthouse, but not to the top. They have a large scaled model of Old Ironsides which was pretty neat too. This locaton has 1/3 size models of old sailing ships, a pirate exhibit in a "cave", an aquarium, other exhibits and a... This is mostly a place for kids. They wanted to charge a ridiculous amount for entry and then for parking, just to see a lighthouse. Go to the adjacent beach and you have a view of the lighthouse for free.
