Ok so I guess we weren't properly prepared for the underground tour and it was chillier that I had expected plus we had been in the sun most of the morning. We got out by the opening hours so drove to a nearby to grab lunch.
The tour guide explained that she would speak in French and Spanish; her english wasn't great but she tried to give us some information in English and we could have paid for an audio guide, but didn't. I thought the tour guide had said no photos but she may have meant no flash photography though did go on to use a quite powerful torch to point out certain features

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear that your visit didn't go as planned. Indeed, the constant temperature in the cave is 6 degrees all year round, which can be a noticeable difference after spending time in the sun. We always recommend that our visitors bring an extra jacket or layer for comfort. Regarding the languages used by our guides, we confirm that our tours are mainly guided in French. Although our guides have some knowledge of English, Catalan and Spanish, they are not obliged to provide detailed explanations in these languages. Audioguides are indeed available as an option for those who prefer a more complete multilingual experience. As far as photography is concerned, we understand that there has been some confusion. Usually, flash photography is limited in caves to preserve the natural ambience. The use of a flashlight by the guide is commonly employed to highlight the features of the caves without disturbing their natural ambience.

Very cool, very interesting. The whole family really loved these caves, the otherworldly mineral formations gave us a lot to see and talk about. The guide was very knowledgeable and communicated well. We really appreciated not having to wear a hard hat (as you would in the UK lest you forget how tall you are), meaning we could really look around, listen and take it all in unhindered.
You need to be up for steps to enjoy this- it's not tough going, but it's not a light stroll either. Take a jacket and wear good shoes.

Hello, thank you very much for this review. We are happy that you enjoyed this natural wonder. Your comment can only encourage us to continue our approach of sharing and promoting the underground world. It is indeed cool in the cave so we recommend a little wool and sports shoes.

This cave is simply beautiful. It is very well presented, in terms of lighting but also the path you follow. There's far more to see than you could possibly take in in one visit,!

Very unfriendly entrance staff. We arrived 5 minutes late due to a snowfall that required us to stop to put chains on and we were treated very badly. It is understandable that if the visit has already started you cannot join, but informing must be done politely.
They don't refund the money.

Unavoidable ! A magical moment. There
Nature is truly beautiful.
The visit lasts 1 hour but you don't see the time passing. The guide is clear and very pleasant. Be careful to cover yourself (it is 6 degrees in the cave) and to wear suitable shoes.

Merci pour cet avis ! La température au sein de la grotte est effectivement de 6° toute l’année. Nous vous recommandons effectivement le port d'une petite laine pour apprécier au mieux la visite

The +:
- magnificent cave 🤩
- easy to access by car and on foot
- souvenir shop + refreshments
- guided tour
- online reservation

THE - :
- Expedited visit, we don't have time to marvel
- We would have liked more technical language "we see a Pikachu, scoubidou, a carrot, a fried egg..."
- We didn't understand why there was a cellar (wine) at the exit.
