Worth visiting if you want to experince Thailand through its all dimensions. Statue is impressive though it is still under construction. View of the island seeing from the top of the hill, is realy remarcable.

Breathtaking views and a beautiful temple to visit. They provide free sarongs to cover up which was a welcome relief when we hadn't planned the trip on the day we visited.

We spent about 45 minutes climbing the stairs up to the big Buddha and looking around. Hilight was blessing by the monk. If you have small change you can buy bricks to add to the structure. Very pretty views around and some good photos

We got there via a tour, but we also saw many tuk tuks there. We were in Patong, and it was approx 40 min away (traffic). Check out tours, its included in quite a few.
