Absolutely a must see while in Phuket. The big Buddha itself is a really impressive sight and it is free to visit which is awesome. The views from up top are spectacular, arguably the best views you will get while in Phuket, lots of photo...More

Went here during the second week of February (2018) and it was still under construction. It is still worth the visit tho, the Big Buddha is something to see and the view that you get is breathtaking.

It was interesting to learn about Buddhism.Took photos, etc. There was an elephant riding place up the street. It was not a sanctuary, more like a tourist thing.
