This is a massive size Buddha at the hilltop and worth the visit and you get a fantastic view. You are able to buys souvenirs.

This was our first visit to the Big Buddha. We enjoyed the experience and the info about temples etc. Will visit again on our next trip to see the progress

There is somework being done in the Buddha, however it's worth a visit as It's free, has fantastic views and you have the option of being blessed by a Buddhist monk.....😊

The Big Buddha is a big structure which has minute work on it. It is very convenient to reach. The attraction has a beautiful view.

Very beautiful views, very quiet and fulfilling place, even the toilets are a tourist attraction. you can spend time contemplating the views, meditating or eating bun-icecream (nice touch). You can also donate a small amount for the finishing touches of the temple.

There are no buses that will take you directly to Big Buddha. It's a 40 min trip from Patong so I would recommend. Private taxi and then take in a few other sites . Taxi will be the cheapest in the long run Big Buddha is... More

Hi There s a hikng track from the Pineapple Guest House to Big Buddha but it's not clearly marked . I would suggest going to the P G H and asking the lads for instructions. Start early and carry water. It will blow you away... More

It'll be a long hike up, and then coming down too. However the path is easy to follow and it's clear. If you are going to hike up there leave plenty of time to get back down so that your not on the path in the dark. When we... More
