Good golf course but very long. The golf pro in shop extremely helpful and friendly. Very reasonably priced. Definately worth a visit.

I have attended several functions at Rathcore Golf course. The venue is nicely laid out and suitable for different sizes of groups. Every function was well catered . Food was great. There is always plenty of staff , on the floor serving or clearing and behind the bar. I believe that it would be a great choice of venue whether... More

A must play for all levels of golfers , a lovely warm welcome received from the great Man himself Mick Lyons . Course was fantastic , greens were the best we played on in a long time. The food in the clubhouse is second too none , and served with a warm smile. Can't praise Rathore golf club enough. We... More

Plenty of challenging holes on this course. Nice change of elevation providing a nice holes. It is absolutely a hidden and for the price it is great value. Staff are always very hospitable and helpful. Can't say enough about this place.

I love playing this golf course. It is always a test especially in winter when you have little run on the ball. The variety of holes is fantastic some playing from ground level and others from elevated tees. My favourite hole is the 15th a par 4 which looks like it should be a par 5 but even I can... More

Generous wide fairways, very well groomed course. Had a pint or two in the bar afterwards, the Guniness was fab.

Rathcore is one of those golf courses that you never tire of playing. Each hole is very different and always a challenge. With plenty of variety the course makes great use of the natural features of the landscape and water comes into play on many of the holes. You do not need to be a big hitter to score well... More

You can play a round here for €20. It's a beautiful course with plenty of water. You need to bring a few balls though. If you go into any of the marshy stuff or longer grass, there is absolutely no chance of finding your ball.
