If you are anywhere near Wexford and like beaches you should go here! This is some of the softest sand I have ever felt. The beach is long and beatiful and surrounded by amazing dunes. There is ample parking and a snack shack nearby.

Beautiful expanse of soft sand. Gentle safe waters. Scenic dunes. Shame that people carelessly let them burn, ruining the habitat for many birds. Please do not bring barbecues to any beach and please take care and be responsible.

Lovely, huge beach that's great for walking and dog friendly, too! The water was a bit cold for us (we're from tropical Florida), but there were a few brave souls who seemed to enjoy the swimming!
