We headed down here early Sunday morning (today) & called in advance just to see what the surf was like. They were very helpful and let us know that there was no surf but we could go paddle boarding instead if we wanted.

Absolutely lovely beach for a walk,run,swim,relax etc.The lads doing the Sandboarding are great lads and show you how to perfect the moves and techniques correctly.I had a great lesson and well worth the money.great experience if you have not tried before.
I frequented Curracloe beach as a child and well into my teens. I haven't been there for a while and then went recently and had a coffee and a scone in the Surf Shack, served by friendly polite staff. surf gear can also be rented
My grandkids are down here every summer and have a great time at the Surf Shack
They have had great tuition in surfing and the entertainment area is a godsend on inclement days too marks to all the staff
