One of my all time favorite dives is the Great Blue Hole! it never lets me down with the bull sharks that circle you while you are down 40 ft on the shelf is just amazing, then going in and out of the huge stalagmites...More

Didn't go to the hole. Wanted to but it is a 3 hour boat ride there. And if you don't dive not really worth the trip if you are only snorkeling. Did the fly over though and it is amazing looking

Wanted to see the blue hole but heard unless you dive it is not worth going for the 2+ hour boat ride. Did the fly over tour with Maya Airlines. It was great but it was a bit windy and the view wasn't as vibrant...More

We SNORKLED the Blue Hole with Island Expeditions while staying on their 6-night adventure on Half Moon Caye. We’d heard that the snorkel experience was over-hyped and would be no good. NOT TRUE. We’ve snorkeled in the USVI, in Tahiti, in Mexico, in the Galapagos...More

Ok ... this has been on our bucket list for about 15 years. We finally got the chance to dive the Great Blue Hole and we were a little underwhelmed with the dive into the Great Blue. The trip itself was excellent, we did 3...More

My partner and I took the trip over with Ramons. It took us 2 hours to get there and over 3 to get back, and the seas were very rough. Plenty of vomit. The dive into the hole itself is actually very underwhelming. I had...More

I was aware that it would not look like pictures from the air and that little sea life would be visible while diving the blue hole. Not a fan of cave diving, but did not feel enclosed around the stalactites formed at 130 ft. Still...More

This trip by boat is not for the weak of stomach, very rough waters 2.5 hours just to get to the blue hole. Was not impressed with the snorkeling, boat or crew. Skip it and take advantage of the snorkeling near shore - much better...More

We booked a flight on tropic air to fly the blue hole. It was a great and beautiful trip flying over the beautiful sea. The blue hole is great to see by air. Well worth the trip

From San Pedro it takes 2,5 hrs in rough seas to get there. Your bottom time is about 8 minutes but those 8 minutes are so boring that you don’t need more time. Although we knew from the beginning that corals and wildlife does not...More

Sorry just saw this. You cannot do a first dive at the Blue Hole. You have to have a few dives under your belt. We were certified months before our trip, and hired a private guide to do 6 dives around AC before we... More

The only boats there are the ones on the scuba/snorkel trip and you still need to pay the fees (if you look at the photos, the view is just of dark water). If you want to simply see the Hole, the best thing is to take a... More
