Beautiful sandy beach at Mirissa, quite shallow for some way out so good for paddling. Plenty of loungers available at the restaurants which are generally free to use if u have a drink. No hawkers so hassle free, what’s not to like. Enjoy a cold...More

Our top spot for the south west of Sri Lanka. The beach was nice to walk along and while there are lots of bars and restaurants (a couple of touts) it remains ver relaxed and chilled out. A great place to spend a few days.

Mirissa is a beautiful and clean beach! There are a lot of small properties on the beach - either restaurants or shacks with accommodation at some of them. Sunsets on the beach were stunning!

When we went there were lots of dogs. Depends how good yours is with others. We found there were a lot of dogs that appeared to be stray but one of the cafe owners said they are all owned, it’s just people let them roam.
